Roman walked downstairs to the kitchen to get some coffee. He wasn’t quite sure why he was awake at this time, but he knew he wasn’t going to get back to sleep, so he might as well be functional. When he entered the kitchen, he did a double take and blinked hard. No, he wasn’t imagining it. Virgil was asleep in the sink.

Remus licked the edge of it, rolling it up without even looking at Logan. “Maybe I like choking.”

So that was how it was. Logan shoved his hands into his pockets as they walked. “You are aware we’ll have to act as though we like each other for this, yes?”

“You’re saying you don’t like me?” Remus pouted. If Logan didn’t know better, he would’ve thought he saw a flicker of hurt on his face… But whatever it was, it was gone in an instant. “Why, that completely changes things.”

“I am saying, we must act like a couple.” Logan corrected, unimpressed.

Why the sides work out

Roman: he's insecure about his body, so he exercises excessively to try and tone his muscles so that he looks strong "like a prince should be"

Logan: he wants to have a healthy life style

Patton: he walks his dog while jogging and he finds it fun

Virgil: he does it because he wants to get stronger (you know, fight or flight?). He takes out a lot of his anger and anxiety on the punching bag

Janus: he just does it because he wants to pass the time

Remus: chases after others with his morning star and got fit because of it
