You know, one time I read a fanfic and it triggered my psychosis, sent me into a month long episode THEN a whole year later I was on ao3 just mindlessly scrolling, I came across the fanfic title and it gave me a panic attack, but something compelled me to click it, i didn't read it but i did scroll through it, why? mental illness.
So like... ya
This is me responding to your old(?) post about someone else's fiction not being able to hurt you, this is probably just a me thing but mental illness makes you do things and react to things in insane ways that sometimes you cant control. I knew while reading that it was affecting me in some way, but I kept reading because well, I'm mentally ill, and then a month of my life dissapeared lol
I think I'm trying to make a point about something but I'm not sure
I did after the fact comment to the author and just kinda, told them about what happened, but I didn't harrassed them or something, -
-but when something does what this fanfiction did to me then you're basically obligated to let the creator know I think(they are a really good writer), I'm an adult and the fanfic was in the ballpark of something I would read and if like, 59% of it was taken out and it had a happy ending I would be fine but oh well
Oh boy, I'm starting to have a panic attack just typing this out holy hell anyways uh, I'm not disagreeing with you(?) but I am saying, don't be too quick to dismiss someone who says a piece of fiction fucked with them? idk sorry, have a good one
My friend, the fiction didn't harm you.
Your mental illness harmed you.
Random writers on the internet are not responsible for managing your mental illness for you.
You are responsible for managing your mental illness.
I knew while reading that it was affecting me in some way, but I kept reading because well, I'm mentally ill
This is self harm. You were engaging in self-harming behavior by continuing to read a fanfiction that you knew was triggering to you.
š You are responsible for managing your mental illness.
š Writers are not responsible for managing your mental illness for you.
And I hate to tell you this but messaging the author about it was absolutely harassing the author.
What happened to Valentino's other antenna?
Fucking Alastor happened to Valentino's other antenna.
I think that Vox and Alastor were fighting, Vox started losing but then in the Hollywood action sequence, Velvette and Valentino entered tha chat and saved his flat ass. Hence Alastor's dig:
Is Vox as strong as he purports?
Or is it based on his support?
He'd be powerless without the other Vees
Also Valentino said "He ows us more than just money." but we don't see anything that would indicate that he also has a complicated history with Alastor. So I think Alastor just kicked his ass in a fight and he doesn't have a lot hard feelings about it because it wasn't personal, it happened to him only because he was trying to protect Vox.
Since I'm already discussing it, I must add that I would love it if Season 2 dedicated some time to exploring the differences between Vox and Alastor in terms of their personal relationships. We've seen Alastor experiencing a meltdown over the idea of becoming attached. He believes he is stronger than Vox because Vox has to rely on others. However, thematically, "Hazbin Hotel" revolves largely around building a support system and helping each other. It would love if Alastor at some point came to the realization that having genuine friends gives Vox an advantage, prompting him to consider forming some honest connectors and becoming a little bit vulnerable.
I'm so happy! Today I finally got my Sticker from the shop Morii of one of my favourites webcomic, "BONDED" by @littleblackpan on tapas, totally reccomended!
Itās only been a few hours and I just noticed an adorable parallel between Poison and Loser Baby.
When Angel dances with Valentino heās got him on the chain and is actively directing and restraining him. And in Loser Husk goes from gently guiding Angel to completely having his hands off him and dancing in time with him as an equal.
How I feel like everytime when I post some art
I think it means :
50 % of people are asteined
Of that 50 % who wants to vote 70% wants to vote for Tirak, and 30% of them for Florres
I love how in Road 96 they show this chart constantly, while saying the preferredĀ candidate is Tyrak. This shows SO well how mainstream lies:
The chart shows that they manipulated numbers in the rawest, simplest way since 50%+30%+70%=150%. It should always give 100%. One can accept a 101% since sometimes there are some rounded up in the numbers.Ā
Even though they are manipulated, the numbers show that the preferred candidate by the majority is NOT Tyrak 70%< 50%+30%=80%
I have the impression Tyrak is around 20%, and this bimbo presented commands people to add 50% in the final chart.Ā
The human connection between chars.Ā
The unique narrative style: how the meta story about waiting the elections changes or affects all the chars, over time. How there are small stories along the road, small personal stories with each character, and then the meta plot, the big story, related to the incoming day of election and how one affects the other. Narrative speaking is a master piece in my opinion.Ā
Papa Bear: Mr. Ursus, John. This is the kind of radical rebel I like to see some times. A tired, wounded rebel that needs some rest because rebellion is really so hard to sustain over time. It has that tiredness vibe that Ioverth from The Witcher carries: they go on, but they are not the same anymore. Not the same kind of rebel they were in the beginning. And the humanity in keep going as a broken rebel.Ā Ā
Fanny: Probably the only cop I will like in my life. A cop that stopped finding satisfaction in her job, because everything is corrupted and wrong. The little she can do is always low impact.Ā Ā
Alex: A genius teenager with the kind of morality I like for these chars:Ā āmeh-moralityā. Cop adoptive mother, rebel bio parents, living in a tyrannical country, hacking everything because he has his own plan.Ā

do you ever just think about how all might must see izuku?
like, everyone else ā tsukauchi, nighteye, even gran torino ā first experienced toshinori at his best. they met him either in professional settings when he was being ALL MIGHT ⢠or when he was young and idealistic and generally had the overwhelming charm of a child with big dreams. when they met him he was making a conscious effort to live up to his ideals, and they only saw how hard that was for him much later, if ever. he knows they support him, but he also knows that they came to admire him long before he ever asked for their support.
and then thereās izuku, whose first meeting with all might was ⦠bad. toshinori was having a bad day, he was grouchy, and he absolutely took that out on izuku. not only does he, five minutes after meeting izuku, immediately dump his baggage about his injury and his time limit on the kid, but he also talks about his self-doubts and waning faith in heroes. stuff no adult should ever tell a child, let alone a hero to a civilian. and then he tops himself by straight up crushing izukuās dreams, telling him he can never be a hero. finally he leaves the kid on the roof of a tall building, without taking half a second to think how that might go horribly wrong.
and the next thing he sees izuku do is fucking dive into a villain fight to save another kid whoās dying, while all around him heroes INCLUDING ALL MIGHT stand by and do nothing.
like, holy shit can you imagine what toshinoriās view of izuku must be like? he knows damn well this kid is having what is possibly the worst day of his life. he got attacked by a villain, found out his hero is a fraud and had his dreams crushed. thatās without knowing he got suicide baited less than two hours ago. and still this kid, who by rights should be slinking home to cry for the next 24 hours, is out here risking his life to save his friend. knowing full well that if he does this his day can only get worse, either by being injured or by getting in trouble with the heroes.
that puts toshinori to shame.
so of course toshinori admires izuku. of course he offers to make izuku his successor. of course he believes in izuku (even to the point of expecting unreasonable performance out of him, but it never shakes his faith when izuku falls short or has different priorities). of course heās willing to get down on izukuās kitchen floor and beg his mother to let izuku be his student. how could he not want to be izukuās mentor?
izuku may be the only person who makes toshinori actually feel good about himself. he did something terrible to izuku, and still izuku admires him, listens to him, wants him for a mentor. izuku saw him at his worst and saidĀ āyouāre still my hero.ā he makes toshinori feel loved.
and if you donāt think thatās the most heartwarming shit you can get out of my face.
Personal reminder to redraw this as Izuku Midoriya who wants to talk about heroes
