The 16-year-old who rung up my order and made my lemonade guessed that I'm 25. We were talking about how hard it is to guess other people's ages. I'm actually 44. Everyone typically thinks I'm younger than I am, which usually works to my advantage because I'm also adorable 🥰😂🤣😆 Overall, it beats the alternative, which is people saying, "Hello you old hag! How are the great-grandkids?"

Done! Here are my very brief immediate thoughts based on the main reason many of us chose to read this book--the possibility of a published author confirming McLennon that goes beyond platonic. It's a fascinating book, never boring, full of deep information that carries you along like the ship John piloted through a massive Atlantic storm (near Bermuda of all places? Could you imagine if John had disappeared in the Triangle?? 😮.) Leslie does not end up with a sexual McLennon conclusion, though I disagree with him based on his very own book. I guess it's only fair though, none of us outside the most intimate of the Beatles circle can be absolutely sure, and that's just a simple fact. He gets as close as possible though, comparing John and Paul to a very deep and meaningful friendship between two French men in the late 1500s, Michel de Montaigne and Étienne de La Boétie, which was also cut short by the death of one, while the other grieved for the rest of his life. In conclusion, the book is beautiful, John & Paul were beautiful, their love was beautiful. Read it, but know that he sees a very complex soul mated platonic love. Just so, you know, you're not disappointed waiting for the secret Liverpudlian wedding reveal. 😉☺️😇

This guy LISTENS to music, he catches the theme, the meaning, the secret messages of every single note so if he somehow misses that very obvious switch from darling to Johnny and back... Seriously, the Johnnys are screamed in your face, babe.

Hello fellow Aziracrowphiles what does your GO obsession have you working on today? I'm a little over halfway through getting all the dialogue from the show. I've been on season 2 episode 3 for about a week, getting every quote from a show like this that has a whole lot of talking is a lot of work 😆😂. 
OK, finally, I'm roughly 61% through listening to John and Paul: A Love Story in Songs on Spotify and Leslie has just mentioned all of the photos and videos of John and Paul staring at each other on YouTube and Tumblr. Kind of feel like we all got a shout out 😂

How they aren't locked in the throes of passion at that moment is simply beyond me. John wants to devour that neck. Lounging on the floor, their bodies pressed together, good thing they remembered there were people around or they might've had a lot to explain at their next press conference. Or not, if anything maybe that would've made things clearer to everyone.
A million '60s women had their hearts shatter when they saw this photo, then wrote in their diaries that instead of fucking John or Paul, their new obsession was to watch them slowly worship each other until they were both panting, exhausted, and fully satisfied (which would then be incorporated into their next single--it was John & Paul, after all.)

To celebrate Ian Leslie's long anticipated biography of John & Paul, here is a look at a vintage McLennon article written by Michael Gerber all the way back in 2015. Don't skip the comments. Gerber responds to them and they bring out even more insight.
From the article: "A love affair between John and Paul, ended abruptly in March 1968 and followed by Paul’s departure from Rishikesh, explains a lot that the conventional narrative doesn’t."

A useful thing to know about AO3 tags is that they're wrangled by humans. A human being will read your tag, understand what it means*, and then connect that tag in the backend system to other tags that mean the same thing (if there are any)
that's why, for example, the tags

and a million more versions are all searchable and filterable if you just tag one of them. A Tag Wrangler (the job title of a human volunteer who manages AO3 tags) has made sure that AO3 understands that those are all synonyms, so AO3 treats them that way.
When you're tagging your fic, or searching for a fic, or filtering a tag to find or remove works from the list you do not have to use every possible version of a tag. You just need to pick one - unless using more is a stylistic choice you're making, in which case have at it.
*or research what it means - which is why wranglers really appreciate it if you put (OC) behind the name of your original characters so that they don't have to scour every source they can find to see if it's a named background character in canon.
