yeap! when kai used to work with garmadon's gang, way back when lloyd was only 4 and kai was about 15 himself, he went snooping around somewhere he wasn't supposed to...and well... he got caught by garmadon, of course, and was kicked out of the room and continued living life as usual, he eventually forgot that this even happened but now, years later... even though it took him a while, he eventually connected the dots that this kid and gb are.. the same person, even if gb may not remember that.
