The entire Justice Leage have been on edge lately watching as a giant creature the size of planet dart around the Milky Way galaxy in an almost panicked state. Despite it's very appearent size it hasn't done anything harmful, passing through planets and stars with intangibility.
Constantine on the other hand was freaking the fuck out. There was a giant realms being with a crazy amount of power searching for something and it felt like the universe itself was holding its breath. He was honestly at his witts end when he felt it.
"YOU! What do you have?" He stopped his pacing to look at Batman's traffic light child.
"That's none of your concern." Robin snapped back.
"Robin." Batman's voice cut through their little conversation. By now every JL memeber was watching them.
"It's nothing–"
"Oh yes it is, now let me see it."
As if on que a tiny glowing humanoid creature popped into view ontop of Robin's head cooing and making warbled noises.
Constantine paled.
Robin took the being from his head and held it in his arms, pulling out a batarang and giving it to the thing which then began to bite it.
"Robin." Batman started, voice firm but sounding tired.
"This one found me first." He countered.
"It doesn't matter how you found it, we need to–" Constantine's words were cut off as the large creature released a noise that sounded almost like a whale but something like warbled speech mixed into it. What happened next sent his heartbeat into a marathon and his stomach to a deep trench.
Robin's little creature stopped chewing on its toy and responded with a cry of its own.
Welp they were fucked now.
The large creature's head snapped to their direction, eyes directly on the watchtower as if it could perfectly see them from such a distance and sped towards their location.
He'd mimic Bruce so well that they wouldn't even think twice before jumping into action.
Every once and a while, the Batkids will try and pretend to be Bruce over the radio whilst on patrol.
Tim (as low and gravelly as he can go): "Oracle! Analysis!" Barbara (nonplussed): "Red Robin, I can see which channels are lit up when you speak, I know that's you." Tim: "I AM THE NIIIIIIIGHT...!"
Batman is not pleased. The kids only do this more.
This is giving me an idea 🤭
Injured and trying to hide after a fight with GIW, Danny has to overshadow the first person he sees. Because of how weak he is at the moment, overshadowing doesn't work as usual, and he's just a voice in the guy's head, no actual control over the body. The person he overshadowed? Billy Batson.
Yes, it's divine twitch chat au. Billy probably doesn't even notice a new voice for some time. Danny is very confused because there are just so many people in there and they're gods and who the hell did he possess???
The Waynes totally think he's a clone of either Bruce or Damian. The physical appearence right down to the "You kill me? No I kill you!" behavior Damian and Bruce exhibited when they were his age.
P.s I'm thinking Danny is fourteen here while Damian is sixteen and getting some intense deja vu.
Danny, at the tail end of a very stressful week involving Vlad and the GIW and his parents, gets dragged along to Gotham to a gala at Wayne Manor by Sam. During said gala, he gets pestered by Sam's parents, the rich snooty people and the Waynes find him very suspicious for some reason. Then some group of goons attacks the gala and there goes his last nerve as he just lets out a war cry and tackles the nearest gun toting goon before bodily tossing them at the next closest goon. No ghost blasts, just fists, feet and teeth.
Later, when he is being corralled to be examined by paramedics he is asked what set him off and he replies "I could sense their eagerness to kill and decided to see if I could take a few with me."
Really, it was just the stress.
I’ll be brief: after a very violent domestic dispute between us (me, my mother, and the children) and our main source of income, we’re left with no way to pay for our life. The police are involved, which left him institutionalized, and us out of luck.
We are scared, tired, and emotionally overwhelmed. You can make our lives a little bit easier, if you have the means.
$0/$8,600.
Thank you! 💖
Enough days have passed and I still haven't seen any fanfics where everyone survives the witch's road. Where is it, where are my good ending fics?
There was a dp x dc fic I read months (or years) ago and I need help finding it.
In this fic Danny was an adult (I think around the same age as Dick) and while walking around a graveyard he hears someone desperately trying to get out of their grave and goes to help. After helping the person, which turns out to be Jason Todd, Danny helps him back to the manor where he reunites with Alfred, then Bruce and eventually Dick (although Dick was a little jealous of him at first).
It would soothe my brain if anybody out there knows the fic and has a link or title they can give, please.
Edit: Nvm yall, I found it!
Here it is:
Has anybody ever read a book that genuinely pissed you off?
As I am writing this I'm remembering the mistake I made a year ago where I read this comic about two boys cause I thought the artstyle looked unique and interesting. I'm here to tell you now that was the BIGGEST mistake made.
At first it was all cutesy and stuff but then the story progressed and it got so much worse to the point where I was wishing genuine death on most of the characters, but I couldn't stop, I wanted to see if the author would change it, I wanted feel even a speck of hope that things would get better.
BUT NO, IT DIDN'T!
As I'm writing this I'm getting so upset and emotionally and I know a piece of fiction shouldn't make me upset like this but I can't help it. Whenever I unfortunately remember the book and characters anger courses through me and I get so emotionally that tears start to form as I unwillingly remember every detail from that book.
This sparks the urge to go into my little notes app and plot out a better story than that author ever could.
Anyways that's my little rant, thanks for reading if you did I just needed to get my frustration out in a healthy way.
Spoilers for Agatha All Along.
Could you imagine being one of those witches that died trying to summon the road with Agatha? Like I can imagine them dying, becoming ghost and seeing Agatha pull the same shit with this new coven, expecting it to turn out the same way it did for them but it actually works.
I just know those witches would be like "Here she goes again– wait a minute! WTF?!"
