No Picture for the Quote of today but I watched a youtuber named Aki, a Filipina like me and I felt comforted about what she shared at her latest video about Going back to her Roots and closing a chapter of her past and realizing, understanding and accepting that the world moves on without you but it also means you have moved on as well.

I am in my 20s starting my life at my own pace (both my decision and some uncontrolled circumstance as well.)

She said that Life is unpredictable and the only thing that is permanent is change, so embrace it and mistakes and failures are inevitable. Learn from them and used those as the stepping stones to constantly learn because everything from our past and 20s will refine the way we will approach 30s and above.

How we approach the smallest to the biggest things will teach us and refine us like aged fine wine. (Lol)

The only thing we can control are our habits and the way we behave against the stress, eustress. The neutral minor and major events of our life.

Still this is Life. Cherish and do not take things for granted.

The Weill Cornell Medicine commencement was held earlier this month where a medical graduate from Gaza used his time on stage to condemn the university and its leadership for their complicity in the genocide on Gaza and implored his fellow graduates to stay true to their oath and stand with the hundreds of healthcare workers who have been killed by the IOF. In response the university have done everything they can to minimise this young graduate from speaking truth to power from his own graduation records by cutting away from him during the ceremony’s livestream and erasing his time on stage in the released footage.

My past experiences and behaviors go hand in hand and they have to be inhibited.

I have reflect/examine myself and focus on growing in this journey.

I was slightly ashamed of this quote but then I remembered I voted for my country that day (May 2022). I have given it some thought base on my experience in the past and from my other relatives at visayas who've made a decision to regain hope from BBM president and vice president Sarah with a firm vision, discipline and wake-up call; WE NEED RIGHT NOW IN THE PHILIPPINES. I have had enough of playing the victim and crying about the past even & after the circumstances have still not improved. And even though some bashers will come but here at least, I am proud to be BBMxSarah 🇵🇭 without the judgement from my the other social media friends. It is relieving to 'confess'. The fact that I want to confess this is messed up. Because of some other people's self-righteousness and entitlement.
