ouch just saw someone point out that Taylor sang “you’re my best friend” the day after Vogue took down The video 🤧🤧🤧 Its like her reassuring karlie that she’s still her best friend even though the video was taken down. And that just because the video was made private , she’s not gonna stop letting the public know they’re best friends. They won’t be forgotten. Just like a folk song, theyre love will be passed on. Like I’ve said before I’m not not an lsk but I don’t really commit to that title. Even if she didn’t sing it in an lsk way, I think it was intentional. Crying!!

if I’m being so honest guys I don’t “believe” in most of the clips where we have Taylor singing things live with she/her pronouns. let me explain why.

it really depends on what word you’re thinking of when you listen to the clips. if you’re thinking “her” you’re gonna hear her, not it (you are in love.) If you’re thinking “her”, you’re gonna hear her, not your (new years day.) It’s like a yanny/laurel situation.

The only one I genuinely believe she is singing with she/her pronouns is the I Knew You Were Trouble performance at the iHeartRadio music festival (tumblr won’t let me put another video in for the people that haven’t seen it 🙄. I’m sorry)

skip to 2:35, and focus on when she says “that you never loved me” it sounds like she says “that she never loved me.” This is pretty clear and can’t really be reconstructed to sound like “you” unless we think of her saying it like “chah” like, “thatchah never loved me” or something like that, but it still wouldn’t make sense because the way she sings it has a “ee” sound.

Now, I think her not properly enunciating these words might be intentional (in the yail & nyd performances) but at the same time idk. It’s like with the “Karlie What You Want” theory. I honestly believe in that. I think if the real lyrics she wanted to sing were “call it what you want to” there’s no reason for to be singing it the way she does lol. Like i think THAT is intentional, the bad enunciation.

But, I think in the New Year’s Day performance it’s just a result of the breath she takes before she says “your,” however, I’m not not completely against the theory that she says “her.” I just think it could also be a result of hearing something because you think you will hear it. If you intend to hear “your” you hear your. But nevertheless, it’s fun to believe.

While we know this cover is extremely gay, I’m obsessed with the attention to detail with the lyrics and way they relate so strongly to Taylor’s situation.

idk if it’s like this on tumblr too but I’m SO sick of seeing twt gaylors bash lsk CONSTANTLY. In this community we still only know what taylor presents us with. they could be together, they might not be together, we do not know!!!!!!! I’m not even an lsk, in my own interpretation of taylors lyrics, performances, flags, etc, they are broken up. But people need to get off their high horse and realize that they don’t “know more” or are better because they think kaylor is broken up. while the evidence ive seen lsks present is not enough to convince me, it’s not like it’s crazy. We only know what Taylor writes (which is one side of the story,) but also, it’s not like she and Karlie haven’t written/sang/done things that would imply they are back together. “I tell you that I think I’m falling back in love with you,” her Karlie Smile during surprise songs, karlie with Levi (I believe it’s him) with the candle Taylor is known to have all around her house, and more. And this is something I’ve observed being in the gaylor community for about 2 years (not a long time I know, but long enough,) just because we realize that 🧣 believe the narrative Taylor™️ feeds them and they don’t see the “real” Taylor🏳️‍🌈 we still don’t know everything about Taylor. We don’t know who she is as a person in private, we don’t know what happened in her relationships, we don’t know what she does behind the scenes, etc. we still only know what Taylor presents us with publicly. And I’m getting so tired of seeing other gaylors act like they know Taylor just because they see through Taylor Swift™️, and bash other peoples theories who know just as much as them. I realize I don’t have a big following, but I’m gonna say this to whoever’s listening because every single lsk I’ve met/seen has been so kind to me and to their following, and they don’t deserve the constant bullying by this community. We are supposed to come together and bond, and sharing interpretations back and forth is APART of that. And it’s not fair to “mass accept” (idk if that’s the right wording lol) a certain theory as truth. And by that I mean accepting that kaylor broke up as a fact, when that’s not necessarily true, and bashing ANYBODY who tries to share their own interpretation. It’s not right and it’s not kind. I’m not trying to start a fight I’m just trying to share this issue I’ve observed

well it’s in reference to the kaylor daisy which has a lot of lore but the most obvious is this:

then taylor writes “i once was poison Ivy but now im your daisy” and draws a replica of the daisy

and throughout their Big Sur trip we can see in multiple photos Karlie has the daisy in her hair

and it kinda becomes a symbol of their relationship and shows up many times

in my personal opinion, it’s very apparent in taylors songs that the love of her life was karlie, and in my own interpretation, taylor messed up and karlie left her.

all of betty taylor apologizes, proving she’s the one who messed up

and as we’ve seen taylor cant stop with the kaylor references on tour, fashion, lyrics, etc. if she had ended things I don’t think she’d be as hung up as she is. I know she has a hard time getting over things/people, but she really is in deep for karlie. Here is my theory I just came up with 5 minutes ago but in my opinion makes sense. disclaimer: im not an lsk i don’t really believe they are in contact but no shame to lsks! I love y’all and again nobody knows what the truth is but them so all love to everybody and I accept all theories🫶

here’s how I think things went

kaylor is dating and they plan their big coming out. circa 2019 lover era. I think she planned the coming out, her and karlie were excited (nervous, but ready to be free) and ready to spent the rest of their lives together (not in a marriedlor way, not yet. I think taylor wanted that regardless, but karlie only wanted it if they came out maybe.) i think karlie wanted a family/kids but clearly they couldn’t have that unless they came out.

I don’t think her and karlie were broken up when she was writing lover. The only song that I think really hints at that is dbatc which I just think Taylor got inspired like I don’t think it was based on current feelings.

maybe taylor got scared or the masters heist stopped it, idk, but coming out fails. I personally believe that taylor got scared because we know how important being liked is to her (I don’t wanna sound too invasive or parasocial 😭) but the sudden switch from colorful to black, the gay pride buildup just for nothing, and miss americana being a…political documentary.

I think maybe after that taylor fell into a dark spot. I’m trying really hard not to be weird and invasive but based on songs, her graduation speech, and Taylor always having lots of drinks at any gathering, I think she might’ve become too fond of alcohol? I wouldn’t say this if This Is Me Trying didnt exist. And also:

Again, really don’t wanna get too invasive but I think she might’ve cheated on karlie, as maybe an act if self sabotage, a common theme in her music.

All themes of self sabotage, so maybe she cheated on karlie.

or the failed plan drove a wedge between them, and that’s when Taylor cheated. I think that’s where the folklore triangle comes from. I think karlie broke up with her after finding out. And then we get folklore and evermore

Turn of events! Not only did Dusty Springfield sing that song ‘You Don’t Own Me’ but so did lesbian singer Leslie Gore!

The whole Dusty Springfield x Taylor Swift theory goes so crazy and is SOOO interesting to me! I firmly believe we emulate, respect, and draw inspiration from artists we can relate to or feel represent our most cherished ideals.

It’s obvious that Taylor is aware of Dusty as [her] music has appeared during the eras tour prior / during the countdown.

It’s no coincidence that Dusty Springfield just so happens to have come out as Bisexual and been known for that moment in her life.

It is odd to me that Taylor’s current artwork and album work STRONGLY resembles the color schemes and aesthetics of Dusty’s past work.

Moreover, in a strange crossover episode Taylor Jenkins Reid (Author of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo) has mentioned the bisexual artist (Dusty Springfield) in her novel Daisy Jones and the Six.

It’s such a stretch but at the same time I swear to god she knows something we don’t and has stated that Evelyn Hugo could absolutely be Taylor Swift (as well as used Taylor’s lyrics as a muse for her writing.)

I honestly believe Taylor Swift has either read Taylor Jenkin Reids books OR directly inspired or co-written these stories (as TJR has an anonymous patron noted for Seven Husbands).

Idk…I don’t think any of these crossovers or similarities are just by chance. There’s plenty more visuals and information to support this fan theory but I don’t have time to pick through all of it.

I really believe that Taylor Swifts album 1989 (TV) is going to be her most freeing release yet, showing us her true colors regardless of solidified statements or coming out. The girlies who get it, get it, and the girlies that don’t, dont.
