This is Taim and Tia. I have made several posts over the last few months about their family's fundraiser. Their mother, Eman has an account on tumblr, but it is difficult for her to update it and her instagram due to spotty internet. She and I have exchanged several messages over tumblr dm so I know her family is currently safe.
Donations have been slow lately. Please donate- even a little can go a long way. This fundraiser supports Taim, Tia, their older sister, as well as Eman and Eman's two sisters and parents.
In her messages to me, Eman has told me that she and her family are deeply grateful to everyone who has donated and shared their fundraiser.

People: are unemployed/losing their jobs and getting evicted because of this pandemic while the government gives millions in relief to big business and has no universal income to support citizens as well as a lack of PPE for nurses and doctors, ventilators, and testing

This is a reminder to:
Never mention a possible pregnancy/abortion to anyone, especially not through a social media app messaging service such as messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Snapchat, etc.
Delete all period tracking apps and to start tracking using a planner or physical calendar
Book appointments for a form of birth control if possible, or to always carry condoms for yourself and other
Look into sterilization options if that is the route you want to go down (here is a list of 1000 doctors willing to sterilize you without a fight)
Protect your fellow person, protect the women in your life, the queer people, the disabled people, everyone will be affected by this
Form communities. Tell your people that you love them. Protect one another. Check in on one another. None of us are alone.

just saw the post @transit-fag made about it, and they're right. nixon didn't even survive two full terms in office, and hopefully it'll happen again with trump. hopefully, either the motherfucker will keel over and die, or he will be impeached. so don't give up hope.
but most importantly...
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!
stay strong, stay safe. be involved in community and take care of yourselves. hell, if your reading this right now, go drink some water and eat something. take meds if you have them. take a nap, or if your too nervous for that, turn on a comfort movie (mine personally is toy story two) or draw if your an artist. hell, if your a writer like me, then go write something. cuddle with your partner or family member or a pet on the couch and just rest for a bit. hang out with your friends, video call family (if your on good terms). you know that message you got from an old friend inviting you out? go answer it and have fun with them. complete old classwork assignments, boost your grade. get started on that one thing you've been procrastinating on for months.
