I have the the idea of Vivia being a supernatural as a vampire and Yuma being a supernatural as a ghost in which he still has his forte and shinigami being his friend

Something that i bothered me about the game is that, they never said anything about the detectives' ages (especially Yuma's)
It’s what bothers me the most as of right now, because it’s kind of a dicey territory when you really look at it. I had a full blown discussion with a few friends about this as well, and I understand that I don’t see eye to eye with everyone about this, but I wish we did know, because Yuma Shipping Discourse is bothersome, in my opinion, and given that there is a lot of s*xualization of minors in Japan and Japanese Media is what I think makes the whole lack of clarification to be a very thin line between being okay and being uncomfortable / creepy. The whole thing gives me the ick and my thing is, I don’t care if I’m disagreeing with people, we’re bound to not agree on somethings, but I feel like this is an issue where us, among the community, should agree to disagree, because I don’t feel like arguing a point that people don’t want to agree with me on, if that makes sense ? Anyways, I just view Yuma as a gifted burnout teenager and will leave it at that, and there isn’t any reason to argue with me over it because I am not willing to compromise until it is canonically revealed with proof.

Chapter 2: A Silent Curtain Call

Here’s my take on detective Seth in this au! He’s my favorite character and I’ll gladly draw him whenever I can.

The reason why we didn't learn the names of the chapter 1 suspects is because we didn't need to. It didn't matter what their names were, only their roles as the priest, the nun with a broken arm, the servant who found the rope ladder in the incinerator and couldn't commit the first murder due to his size, and the regular worshipper with no access to the incinerator but with a lot of knowledge on the Nail Man. Same as the boy that Yuma helps.
In chapter 2, Kurumi knew the suspects personally - they were going to the same academy, and there is really no better way to refer to them other than by their names.
In chapter 3, Yuma is being personally introduced to the Resistance by Shachi, in order to get to know them somewhat and possibly get persuaded to either join or work for them. We need their names for that.
In chapter 4, there is literally One Guy, Dr. Huesca, and there is absolutely no reason not to call him by his name. Fink is also here but who cares about Fink let's be honest.
We didn't need to attach ourselves to the church crew. Yuma and Halara were at the time pretending to be peacekeepers doing an interrogation. It's really not a strange or bad writing choice. It would be way more odd if we got introduced to Father Adeline, Sister Fuyuko, the servant guy Josh Smith we don't really respect him that much tbh, and don't forget our favourite regular Dark Iplier who puts his whole wallet on the tray every sunday so we forgive him for replacing the holy water in the stoup with diesel and tempting small children to chug it for fake pokemon cards

I'm gonna be real I'm so glad raincode has such a big sickness whump community. At first I thought it was weird but then I was like. Huh. No wait I get it. I wish somebody would take care of me like that, too. It makes me happy when I see it so fuck yeah shoutout to the raincode sickness whump community yall are real as fuck

Kurumi Wendy is far and away the thing I hate the most in this entire world. She’s so boring, so stupid and pointless, and dull, and literally braindead and a zombie. From her very first appearance she was pointless and stupid and hopelessly dull. She doesn’t even know Aiko well enough to know she’s friends with the other three, and completely lacks the investigative prowess to know jack shit about the case, despite it being simple for anyone with the knowledge of the social circle to solve. I doubt she was even that close with Aiko, bitch probably just wants attention. She follows detectives around like a puppy, obsessing over Yuma despite not knowing a damn thing about him, promising pointless and stupid exposition in exchange. She’s a hindrance the entire game, and every time she appeared after ch2 I wanted to kill her with my bare hands. Ch3? Exposition and praise dump who just constantly tells Yuma how nothing he does is wrong despite not knowing even a single thing about him because she never lets him speak. Ch4? Stupid and garbage pointless guilt tripping of Yuma despite again them not fucking knowing each other. Ch5? She almost gets him killed a dozen times with her own incompetence, honestly why the fuck was she even there in the first place, I wish the aetheria girls killed and ate her. Epilogue? I hate the epilogue more than anything. Anything. Why does she have the book of death that’s the most stupid pointless and nonsensical thing of all time. I hope Shinigami apparates out of it and pops both of her stupid flat tits clean open and makes her blood spray everywhere and kills her, only for her to revive 24 hours later so her suffering can be eternal. Every bit of exposition she drops is over stated and idiotic. Her entire role as an informant is horrid, she drops the most basic information in the form of mysterious vocabulary words, even though someone her age should be intelligent enough to piece together Blank Week, she’s too much of a fucking idiot to even think to mention it til she’s asked. Informant my ass. I should’ve needed informed consent before having to play a game with this stupid fucking cunt in it. Her design is hopeless. Hopeless. All gray, somehow she blends into nothingness in the most vibrant setting I’ve ever seen. She’s idiotic. Utterly basal. Her stupid uniform her stupid jacket and her stupid STUPID eyes. I hate her. I hope she suffers I hope she bleeds. The only mildly interesting thing about her is that she’s a flesh eating homunculus, but unfortunately she shares that with thousands of other people. I want nothing but the worse for her.
