Scenario #5:

You pulled Chaewon into a deep embrace and let her cry. It was better to let her voice her feelings than to force her to think positively. The two of you remained there for a bit and eventually began your walk home again.

Before Chaewon stepped into her home, she turned around and called out to you.

"Y/n! Thank you." She jogged to you and gave you a quick peck on the cheek. Then I walked into her home, leaving you standing there, stunned. Did you just grow closer to your crush? All you could do is begin walking home in a daze, replaying your interaction with Chaewon.

Your thinking didn’t get to last more than a night, as it was the day of the battle of the bands! All tensions were high as you walked into the preparation room with your bandmates. Passing by several bands, you wondered if you could’ve been in any of them if you had chosen a different band audition.

"Hey now, don’t think about leaving us, okay?" Joked Chaewon. It’s like she could read your mind.

You planned on making another snarky remark as a response, but you had been suddenly bombarded with loud yelling. It was Kazhua and Yunjin.

"No, it’s your fault. Kazhua, I asked you 10 million times to pack extra string; can you not listen?"

"I swore I did! I didn’t think my strings would break anyway."

The two of them went back and forth until Sakura stepped in.

"Hey, now’s not the time to argue! Kazhua, ask around and see if anyone has an extra pack of strings. Yunjin, step outside and calm down. We go on for 10 minutes; we need to be focused."

Everyone nodded, and the room was awkwardly quiet. You could tell this whole ordeal stressed your bandmates out, but you were more concerned about how Chaewon was feeling. After all, she had voiced to you her concerns about losing this competition. You turned to look at her and could see her biting her nails with a stressed look on her face.

How can you calm everyone’s nerves?

Scenario #4:

Chaewon was thrilled that you would take the time out of your day to walk her home! You both gathered your stuff and began to head out.

It was a slightly silent walk. There was a small, causal conversation that would quickly end. Chaewon and you did talk, but you’ve never hung out together alone. This was your chance to get to know her better.

Before you get the chance to ask her anything, you hear sniffles next to you. Turning your head, you’re greeted with a crying Chaewon.

"Hey, are you alright?" You asked, concerned as to why your bandmate was crying.

"Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just that this whole battle of the bands is so stressful. Everyone is so stressed and working so hard; what if it’s all for nothing? What if we end up losing?" Chaewon always seemed confident during practice, so you were surprised to see this side of her! It was true that tensions were high during band practice, and your members were all nervous about competing, even you.

After taking a moment to think of a response, you finally find the perfect thing to say.

A. Hug her.

B. It doesn’t matter if we win, as long as we have fun!

Scenario #3:

You plug your guitar into the ramp and dramatically play a rendition of Panorama. Your audition was short, much like I*Zone’s contract. And, in the blink of a second, you were done.

You slowly lifted your head to look at the judges faces. Two of them were crying. Sakura and Chaewon stood up and clapped. This went on for 15 minutes as you awkwardly kept bowing. Once they dried up their tears, Chaewon smiled at you.

“I haven’t heard that song in so long. Thank you. You’re in the band! Practice starts on Monday!”

Success! You’re in the band. A couple weeks go by, and you fit perfectly! You got along great with the members, even Eunchae, whose instrument is a cowbell. ‘Go off, I guess’ was all you could think as the smiley, enthusiastic teenager rang her heart out.

The positions consisted of:

Chaewon- Lead Vocalist

Kazuha- Drums

Yunjin- Bassiest.

You- Guitarist

Eunchae- Cow Bell.

Soon enough, it was time for your first public performance. Everyone’s nerves were high, as this wasn’t an ordinary performance; this was a battle of the bands. And you were determined to win.

Practicing nearly every day, you became absolutely beat. Kazuha suggested going out for dinner as a stress reliever, but Chaewon mentioned she couldn’t make it. You haven’t quite gotten the chance to make your moves on Chaewon, so you took this opportunity to offer to walk her home.

The judges smiled at you and began to introduce themselves one by one. Only getting to pick up the names Yunjin and Sakura, a short, bob-length-haired girl caught your attention. Chaewon. That’s what she introduced herself as. It was love at first sight and you were determined to make her notice you.

In reality, you wanted to join a band to be drowned in bitches. But you couldn’t tell your parents that.

After sharpening up your guitar skills every day, you’ve finally felt confident enough to shred the stage. So, now you're looking at all the possible auditions to choose from.
