Petition: Save Good Omens, Fire Neil Gaiman
Please consider signing the petition below that I created this morning since it seems that we have not yet formally asked for this to happen and it must. I've included the petition text here as well:
We, the fan community of Good Omens, are calling on Amazon to fire Neil Gaiman and replace him with a new showrunner for Season 3.
After several days of digesting the abhorrent abuses of power to which Gaiman self-admits guilt, it is evident that the values of this long-running community are not reflected by Mr. Gaiman. Many of us are sexual assault survivors ourselves and all of us are allied with those who are. We feel very strongly that we cannot financially support Good Omens with Mr. Gaiman still in a position of power within it and are calling for his immediate dismissal.
As a decades-old fandom who has long-since proven reach and spending power, we feel confident that Amazon will see the value in producing more Good Omens the way we request: with Mr. Gaiman gone from the process.

Well guys, if the allegations are true we should all support the women involved. If they are false we keep doing what we’ve been doing. If the allegations are true we should also pull a Harry Potter and make our own stories and fanworks based on the characters. That way, we don’t indirectly support Gaiman. We must do what the Marauders fanbase taught us and say ‘fuck you!’ to shitty creators and make them mad. Stay safe out there and remember that your feelings are valid!!

Considering Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman turned out to be pretty shitty people I propose we re-cast Sherlock and feed our delusion. Might I suggest, David Tennant as Sherlock and Micheal Sheen as John.

I've noticed that people have started spreading the 1992 Good Omens script around. Please don't. If you've got it up, please take it down. There's a mess of serious and real legalities involved, and I don't want to have to start being a dick and asking for copyright takedowns and all of that, and I don't want to have to regret letting it out into the world. Just take it down, unshare, delete links. Thank you.
