Where Every Scroll is a New Adventure
So...
Dumbledore is a complex character. Some put him as a hero, some as a villain. Both are good, honestly.
I think my favorite representation so far is from "Falling Apart", a Severus Snape centric fic.
And, I'm pretty much a Snape fan.
I'd like a bit of a more friendly relationship between them, but not the mentor-apprentice kind. More like, two very exhausted adults, one too old who thinks he knows everything, one too young, who knows too much and is done with life.
And, please listen here, Severus calls Albus 'Wulfric'.
Imagine, Severus just coming from a meeting and Dumbledore asking in an overly happy manner 'How are you, my boy?', even though Severus told him not to call him that.
'Very well, Wulfric. You?'
'All is well, Percival.'
'Just peachy, Brian.'
All the time. Alone, with Order memebers around, other memebers of staff or in front of Hogwarts' children. He would do it in front of Voldemort if he had the chance.
Imagine, Severus calling Dumbledore 'Wulfric' the same way the headmaster calls Voldemort 'Tom'.
ALBUS DUMBASADOORNAIL AND GELLERT GRINDHARDONTHEWALL WERE LOVERS? WHY DID I JUST FIND THIS OUT
It’s always interesting when you see a fandom that’s fan content is better than the canon, they looked at it and said “good concept but your executions horrible let me take over”
I’m not a part of a lot of these fandoms but I’m just a fascinated, and it’s so cool to see people really improve a concept, and make amazing content. Some examples of these fandoms (pulled from Reddit) are Miraculous Ladybug, Harry Potter, Merlin, Danny phantom (apparently), ect. I haven’t been in most of these fandoms spheres but Harry Potter just falls apart when you notice things like the antisemitism, Dumbledore supposedly being a good guy, Snape having a promising redemption in theory but the execution being poor as hell.
If you guys can give me more examples that’d be cool anyway just a rant hope y’all have a good day.
Maybe it’s just me but no one else can tell me that at some point a student didn’t bet on Dumbledore’s gayness. Think about it. All through out the years that Dumbledore was a professor, a student probably started a bet on when Dumbledore realized he was gay or not. After reading skeeters book about Dumbledore, some people who placed a bet must have been thinking... “who won?”
Severus didn’t need to come in that hot like damn Snaddy 🥵
Found these amazing pieces of art on the internet. The iconic trio of professors of Hogwarts. The bravest Slytherin with two of the best Gryffindor teachers!

20Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
An important and crucial character, Dumbledore was to us as he was to Harry, a role model, with whom we learned more about character, personal growth and the complexities of human nature than we would’ve learned from him about Transfiguration (had we known him as a Professor and not Headmaster). While Dumbledore had his reasons, our journey with him thru the final book held the most important lessons he could have and I feel should have bestowed upon us. While difficult, by being ashamed we lost out on his wisdom on the loss and guilt of his sister and brother, the complexities of choosing the right path as when Voldemort chose the wrong path, and of course his relationship with Gellert Grindewald. Thru Dumbledore, we see and are shown how our idols, and more importantly our parents, are human and as such, perfectly, imperfect
On the other side, we also learn about how one can be powerful, important but also still childlike as we saw with his obsession with sweets and socks (regardless of what he might have really seen in the Mirror of Erised). This is important because as we age we lose some of our sense of wonder, and are told we must always be mature and un-childlike.
Throughout the series Dumbledore also bestowed wisdom with many fabulous quotes; here are some of the ones that have always stuck out with me
"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live”
“You will find that help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it”
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light”
"It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends"
"We must all face the choice between what is right, and what is easy"
"Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living and above all, those who live without love"
One I believe is a nod from JK about Harry Potter and the world she created for us
"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"
Here, Harry Potter is comforted by Dumbledore about his journey during the seventh book, his life so far, his relationships with others, answers to some of his most crucial questions and who he wants to be if he chooses to live.
So thank you JK Rowling for giving us a man from whom we learned so much, and were able to learn from as we grew up, and grew, with him.
so i just kinda realized (now, after all these years) the scene where draco is supposed to kill dumbledore and snape is like pushes him away, dumbledore says a weak "please"! i just realised it was a permission, a permission for snape to go ahead and do the deed!
FUCK-!
