The first time Hermes thought he liked someone, was with Persephone. It wasn’t anything serious, anything he understood back then, but he would see her whenever he would go with Apollo to see Iasion and Demeter, and he wouldn’t deny even when he was a kid he thought she was pretty, and felt happy to spend time with her, when she would try to let him help with whatever she was doing(before he got bored and did something else most of the time), when she would make a flower crown for him, or that it felt like his heart was going faster then usual when she called him a cute kid, but it wasn’t like she saw him as anything other then family, especially with him being still a kid(not that he wanted to listen to Apollo about that part), even if he wasn’t against kissing her when he got older(and had tried to, before her mom stopped him, and they both told him he was too young for that). Still well he liked Persephone enough, and he thought Iris was cute too when he started working with her, it felt…different when he saw Penelopeia,

Artemis had only a few memories of her father, but it still surprised her how much he looked like Apollo, the same curly bright hair that shined like the sun, the same eyes that reminded her of the sky on a clear day, even a lot of his face looked like him. It annoyed her, especially with how she used to hope before that he would look like her, have her dark earth colored hair at least, unlike Apollo and their Mama, or her slightly darker green eyes then her Mama had, but that wasn’t what happened she was reminded, when they entered the room he was sitting in, waiting for them.
Zeus: Do you wanna have dinner with me Saturday night?
Alcmene: Actually, I am getting married on Saturday.
Zeus: Friday night?!
