hey kitty, look, you can finally fuck yourself
Kitty friends
New racgwocs au gem - adopted from DarkLolipop88 on dA (with some edits haha) - Chatoyany! An about her under the cut:
One of four survivors of the war for Earth (along with Rose Quartz, Sonora Sunrise, and a yet undecided gem), Chatoyancy was originally crafted by Blue Diamond (with Yellow’s essence) to humor Pink Diamond’s cries for peace talks with the crystal gems. Her purpose was to go before the crystal gems, and discuss agreeable terms of surrender for the end of the war. Things Homeworld would want if they won. And things the crystal gems would want if, stars forbid, they won.
Chatoyancys are generally crafted for jobs that Homeworld does not want to waste an entire gem line for, and do odd jobs before being reassigned to other odd jobs. They’re seen as low class, no matter their task. Throw away gems no one really thinks of.
This Chatoyancy….. Didn’t want her life decided for herself. She didn’t want to go into a war field and be inevitably captured for just doing her job. But, the whispers of her expected convincing to join the other side while she was there…. It kept her away.
No, Chatoyancy did not fight for Earth, not for Homeworld, not for the crystal gems, not for Rose, not for the Diamonds.
Chatoyancy fled and looked out for herself. and the small gems the war forgot.
She became a nuisance to both sides. stopping things she saw as wrong or immoral with her smoke creating cherry bombs, tripping gems up with her caltrops, throwing sharpened playing cards, or crafting near perfect shadow clones to distract the enemy and quickly getting away with her shadowy form and lithe figure. She stopped Homeworld from shattering those fighting for their own freedom, and she stopped the crystal gems from kidnapping loyalists to try to sway them to their side. She couldn’t be everywhere of course, always feeling bad she couldn’t do anything for Pink. She always said she was against homeworld but…. Pink was her diamond. The very reason she was alive. Maybe if she had discussed terms of surrender first before fleeing…. Just maybe…
She was her own gem, until the corruption light hit.
Rose saved who she could in the moment, scooping the survivors close and bracing for impact. She thought she only saved two…. But Chatoyancy’s poofed stone was under her protective shield. Another was saved.
Chatoyancy wouldn’t listen to any of the survivors for hide nor hare. She was a rebel to the rebels. Refusing to truly join their side, for she hated that Rose had shattered someone. And, it would make all those whispering gems right all those years ago. However, she stayed with them. Her chance of survival with all these corrupted gems was better as a group. Plus, well….. it was company that wouldn’t inevitably rot.
Chatoyancy is head strong, won’t back down from anything, and challenges ideas Rose had more openly than the others. To Steven, she is the rebellion emo older sister who helps him get away with things the others would never let him do. She encourages him to think for himself, and secretly hopes he will be just as kind, loving, and wonderful as Rose was to her- despite her dissent.
Chatoyany’s gem is on her left palm.
Chatoyancy uses she/they pronouns.
Is all I desire!
(Can't you see?
Your world's a fantasy!)
so a concept that came to my head with one thought:
"Princess Peach is a Princess..... where's the king?"
So, I'll introduce the washed-up king I came up with, King Hawthorne Toadstool!
As a young King, he was a kind, benevolent leader who pushed the Toads to be better than they were, and had a wonderful, friendly alliance with the neighboring Koopa Kingdom. He was seen as a bit tough, but fair and good. The only problem was that he partied. Sometimes, a bit too much.
It was this partying that lead to Toadsworth being handed a baby Peach by a mysterious woman. No one knows who she was, or why she abandoned Peach to the castle. But, Hawthorne quickly took to being a father and started teaching the baby Peach everything he could as early as he could.
However, it wasn't much. As, when Peach was very young, the Toads of the kingdom hoisted King Hawthorne out of the throne and crowned Peach as their ruler. Their reasoning was that he was too hard on them (even if he was actually really supportive and just wanted them to be the best they could), while Peach didn't expect anything from them. There were a few Toads who weren't sure of this change, asking how well a child could rule them, but most Toads thought this a great idea.
Hawthorne, without his throne, became a bit.... melancholy. He is just an "odd, lonely, sad man" who drinks in the crevices' of the Mushroom Kingdom. He'll talk about how back in his day they didn't have a crisis every fuckin day, and they certainly didn't have an overworked plumber chasing after an overgrown fire-breathing turtle. Ah, well. He doesn't try to contest the crown at all, and simply tries to keep to himself and out of the hero's way.
Peach has not seen him since she was very young and would not recognize him. In fact, not really anyone would. Even his old friend Toadsworth. Most older Toads would have to have their memory jogged of him.

I already said this to you but I meant for these prompts to be just my own non fandom or gem ocs. If anyone else sends these as their own ocs I’m not gonna do em.
The second of my bonus gems; Confusionite! They are mostly a gem version of my non fandom character Hitchcock, lol.
Confusionite is the only one of their kind, being an experimental gem crafted by Blue Diamond. Confusionite has future vision, like Sapphires. But something…. Off happened.
No one’s sure what’s wrong in Confusionite. Their gemstone, hole, coding- everything says they are an average gem. But, they are…. off. Not fully there.
It could be explained with the power of their future vision, being stronger than even Garnet’s. They foresee any path the future may hold, and are not bound by perceptions towards those who they are predicting for or probability. So, Confusionite’s predictions almost always happen. Even if they do not, hints and echoes of what they foresaw are left behind. Their predictions tend to be vague as well, cryptic and riddle-y.
Confusionite is a very free willed gem, not conforming to the Diamond’s rule and instead being a rouge gem and predicting when they feel like it to those who visit them. The only reasons the Diamonds don’t shatter them when they defy their order is their vision is too powerful to waste.
In era three, they move to Earth and enjoy the spontaneous nature of the planet, and only look to the future if absolutely necessary now.
Some background students, and a minorly relevant student from hybrid high!
Drosden (Illithid/Drider hybrid - He/Him - Junior) is a pretty laid-back, token cishet dude (but like. good and nice). On the football team. Just kinda all around a relaxed dude who looks after the little guy.
Buck (Aarakocra/human hybrid - He/Him - Sophmore) is the school's star track runner. He's super into anime and Naruto runs everywhere. He’s a real “bro” guy and refers to everyone as “bro” or “dude”. You wanna watch this new isikei that came out, bro? Or you wanna talk about the latest issue of that one manga, dude? Grew up with Zipper and sees her as a little sister, even if he's since been adopted out of the foster home they grew up in.
Zipper (unknown hybrid/classified as a "chimera" - They/She - Freshman) is incredibly eccentric. They adore cryptozoology, and like talking about the logistics behind (silly- not actively harmful) conspiracy theories. Whether they actually believe these theories is up to debate. Currently living in a foster home that promises to keep her and her fellow fosters homed even after she ages out of the system. Zipper is partnered with Percy for a group project.
All the Crystal Gems from the RACGWOCS au! Decided to keep Corundum but I'm gonna edit his story a bit. His redone bio will be uploaded later. But! All the cgs! Height ref for em really. Corundum is about Pearl height.
Sonora Sunrise - The First - She/Her
Chatoyancy - The Rebel - She/They
Corundum - The Eccentric - He/Him
Finally; Element swap au Rainbow Dash- the element of Empathy. And, her future wife, Wonder!
I decided to scrap Magic as an element from this au. As, it always felt a lil weird to me that they had all these elements based around friendship. And, suddenly, they throw magic in there. And make it the most op. Nah. So, we have Empathy! A few other concepts I was working with was supportiveness and forgiveness, but I thought those didn’t think that fit this version of Rainbow Dash.
Anyway, on to Rainbow Dash herself!
The race against the boy bullies was never finished, as Hoops and Rainbow Dash crashed after Hoops attempted to bump Rainbow Dash so she would crash. Due to the race being unsupervised, and no pony going to check on Fluttershy who had fallen, all three children were sent to detention.
This started Rainbow on a path of delinquency, causing her to rebel more and more. Cause more damage. And chaos. At some point she did it because ponies expected it of her. She’s not sure when though.
Rainbow was forced into an “after school program” that would keep her out of trouble. For this program, she had to chose an extra curricular to do. She went through them all, causing problems and getting kicked out.
Until she found the science program.
Here, she could cause as much chaos as possible- and it was seen as a positive result! The cool explosions and things she was making to bring home- they were actually pretty neat!
This program is where Rainbow Dash earned her cutie mark, representing her talent with more action oriented science. She wants results!
Wonder was born to a pure pegasus family and was raised with pegasus expectations. She eventually earned her talent in organization and became the manager/organizer of the Wonder Bolts, which she was named after.
She is, however, shadowed and not thanked a lot for her work. Not many ponies know it’s her making sure Soarin isn’t late for that show that inspired you to go into flight because he had a hangover. Or making sure no pony notices that pregnancy until the pegasus is ready to announce it. It was a thankless job, and the Wonder Bolts really took advantage of her and her kindness and patience.
Until Rainbow Dash wins a day with the Wonder Bolts. She, at first, laughs off the teasing and shadowing of Wonder. These are her heroes! It has to be okay.... right? But, eventually, she sees it isn’t okay. And she stands up for Wonder.
The Wonder Bolts realize how terrible they’ve been to Wonder and have an appreciation show for her. Wonder, in thanks for making helping her out, gives Rainbow her rainbow item instead of Spitfire.
Wonder herself is a bit of a shy dork. Like a fusion of Fluttershy and Twilight. These two love having book dates with the newest Daring Do!
AAAAAAA BABY ;;; THANK YOU SO MUUUUUUCH 👏👏👏👏
Commission for @yaboy-robin !
A comic page with their Tutu Pearl that took too long.
New gem for my replace all canon gems with ocs au! Sonora Sunrise!
This is LONG so I’m putting it all under the cut! TL;DR - Very first gem in existence ever, even before White Diamond, crystal gem, and wife to Coral
At the beginning of it all, there were but three gems. Sonora Sunrise was the very first of three gems before the gem empire began, and the only naturally occuring one. She came to life very suddenly one day, and found herself alone on a barren planet.
Sonora wanted company. So, she studied where she emerged from, and crafted the second ever gem. A gem who called herself Pearl. It was just these two for a very long time, learning about their species and the planet they were on.
However, Pearl was a massive creative, who wanted nothing more than to create a gem herself. Like Sonora had created her. Sonora shared how she had created Pearl, and Pearl then made the third ever gem….
White Diamond.
White Diamond wanted more. She wanted more company. More gems. More everything. And, eventually, she grew an ego for crafting so many more gems than Sonora Sunrise and Pearl.
Sonora and Pearl watched in horror as White Diamond started to enslave gemkind. They were not happy about this, but White simply made stories that they were the bad guys in this tale. Trying to bring down the empire that White so lovingly crafted, out of jealousy that they hadn’t done it first.
Pearl escaped into her mind and left, while Sonora…. Sonora went to Homeworld. She was treated as royalty, seen as equal to a Diamond. After all, she was the first gem ever. However, they waved off her ideas that gems could be the pilots of their own destiny. That gem kind should not be crafted to be nothing but slaves for the ego of one. No, White Diamond had crafted them all at this point. They would follow her. And, eventually, it was so ingrained in them all that they couldn’t break free anymore. So, Sonora watched as her dream of company turned into a nightmare.
Eventually, after thousands and thousands of years, there were four Diamonds. And, eventually Earth was to be a colony for the youngest Diamond. Pink.
Sonora heard of whispers of a rebellion brewing on the surface of Earth. Gems, fighting for their freedoms to choose their fates. Sonora was so proud! So inspired! She never could fight back as a lone gem, but with Rose leading and able to inspire gems to finally fight back…. They all had a chance.
Sonora Sunrise joined the fight for Earth, and for the freedom of all gems. She became a crystal gem.
She insisted Rose lead, not wanting to lead. Out of fear that if she lead, she would just become like White had. Or, do something worse.
Eventually, Sonora became one of the only survivors of the corruption blast.
She stayed to fight for Earth and try to find a cure for the gems who were corrupted. And, eventually, to help raise Steven.
Sonora is a bit flat affected, not really reacting with facial emotions to things and being mostly monotone. She’s serious, doesn’t get a lot of jokes, but has a hidden passionate side when it comes to the rights of individual gems.
She, eventually, has to cooperate with Coral when Coral is the only one who can help with a threat to Earth that they can’t stop. The two get close, actually fusing when Sonora hadn’t fused since Rose passed away. And, eventually, the two fall in love and wed.
