Space and void and idk what Im talking about !!!!!!!with images!!!!!!

cool so I've been thinking about the ties between space, time, void, and light. (there's a cut but this might not actually be that long)

coolll so ive been thinking "lmao, why do I kinda associate these with each other?" and uhm uh

time and space + light and void (also a bit of blood+breath) (there's no evidence im just saying stuff)

sooo obv there's the ones across from each other. duality or some shit. cringe. this is mostly me explaining to myself why time and space are associated with each other via talking about light and void.

light/void is about the ability to understand stuff

space/time is what you can and can't touch/affect.

idk how id add it to the image, but there would be another thing that would be breath (detail oriented, individual ppl) and blood (bigger picture, groups of ppl)

uhhh so stuff like mind would be what's there, that you cant change (light+time (+breath)) while heart is what's there that you can change (void+space (+breath)) if that makes sense???

Hope is like stuff that isn't there that you can change (void+space (+blood)) rage would be what's there that you cant change (light+time (+blood))

figured out how to add blood / breath. close to the inside is small details (breath). outside is big picture (blood)

a big grey explosion with swirls of green and orange. davepeta-splode!!!!

dave strider sits in an empty void surrounded by green and orange feathers and down.

they start to sit up, disorientated, before looking back over their shoulder. besides their hand is a bright blue hat with a kitty face on it.

dave picks the hat up, stare at it for a moment, before looking around the white void. after turning all the way around, they see nepeta in the distance, wearing their derse pajamas and looking across the empty white expanse in very much the same way.

the two lean towards each other, onto their knees, before rising to embrace each other. dave kneels up, arms outstretched, and nepeta runs directly into them. the two of them meet, arms wrapped around one another and faces mashed so tight together that dave's glasses go askew. the impact is depicted with davepeta green and davepeta orange lines.

"if we squeeze hard enough, maybe we'll stick back together!!" nepeta says.

"mhmm" dave says.

they stay that way, squeezing each other without moving. in the timeless white void, this moment is repeated multiple times and framed with bubbles of green and orange that slowly intertwine and coalesce. the two are surrounded as these endless moments of separation seem to combine into one.

"i don't think it's going to work" they both say in unison, finally pulling apart.

they look at each other with mirrored expression of uncertainty. nepeta's eyes are completely white; dave's eyes are white ringed with red irises.

"we can. still. hang out." dave says haltingly as they hold out nepeta's blue hat, looking down.

"yeah!!" nepeta claps their hands together, expression changing to one of excitement. "we can."

"definitely" someone says. it's not clear who, or if it even matters which one. the speech bubble is orange. dave and nepeta stand up and hold hands, facing each other while a green flight feather and an orange downy feather settle onto the floor in the foreground.

A thief of void is someone who steals void or steals through void for themselves while a prince of light is someone who destroys or destroys through light for themselves.

So I think it would make sense for a parasite of stagnancy to destroys through light by stealing void or steals through void by destroying light. (if that makes sense)

Parasites of Stagnancy are very secretive people, and don't exactly seem very useful or important unless they make a point to do otherwise. They could also be seemingly just really confusing and all over the place or just seem like they are some kind of background character while they're secretly in control of everything they may need to happen.

when interacting with others they could probably be going on and on about random things that are unimportant and have nothing to do with the situation, essentially distracting others from what they're doing when no ones watching.

they'd know everyone's secrets because no one really thinks they can do any damage by knowing. they prolly give horrible advise on purpose lmfaoo.

they'll either make or break their session all while no ones looking. They will likely start their game by being everyone's friend, or just knowing everyone, but probably not liking any of them. Eventually once they get into their land, they'll start distancing themselves and focusing on moving up their echeladder and godteiring before the rest of their team. from then, they'll stick around people, listening in on their private conversations, and learning things they weren't supposed to. they'll uses what they learn to give people a *push* into the right direction. they might push a little too hard, which would be their downfall.

Their strife specibus will likely consist of small things that they could hide on themselves. things that rely on luck or are easy if you know how they work. probably things like Vriska's dice, daggers, or maybe a wand. Their powers might consist of ruining luck for others, blinding others, or controlling light in general, going invisible, making objects (like how Roxy made the matriorb), and disorienting/confusing someone.
