Andria Appaloosa, Centaur Knight
Some sketches of a race of avian aliens i’m calling the proto-shina for a story/comic thing that been sitting in my head for a long time. Their an extinct species but are very influential in setting. (don’t have a proper name yet). They evolved on a dying world and at the height of their civilization technological prowess their star basically went super nova and blew up their planet. They weren’t an FTL capable species, and had tech that was a bit more advanced than our modern day world, think near future or cyberpunk. So as a way to have some sort of remembrance of their civilization they opted to choose a few select members of their species to have their minds copied and made into AIs. I was messing around with trying to design what a robotic version of their facial features might look like.
A purple space dragon partially inspired by sea-slugs. I wanted to get some more practice using colors Ii don’t normally use.
Lovecraft Sundays!, The top is an elderkin, a highly advanced race of aliens who used to have city on mars and Venus. They can only be found in a mindless state in the deep dark oceans of Enceladus. As to how a group of beings as intelligence as the elderkin lost their minds is anyone’s guess.
Below is an Udug a shifting mass of swirling patterns and body features. Looking at them would give you a headache. They protect, the ruins of mars, and are known for curiosity in humans, but mostly just their insides.
Slowly working on developing some aliens for a extra-firm scifi setting. These guys are the brakken (wip name). They were uplifted by another alien race and evolved from a species which originally had radial symmetry. I took some inspiration for their colors from manuls.
With the new alien covenant trailer lurking around I’m going through a bit of an alien-phase. I wanted to try my hand at drawing a xenomorph-human hybrid that wasn’t the monstrosity in Alien: Resurrection. Basically my take was a more fleshy fusion of Sil from species and a xenomorph.
-Danger on the Catwalks-
I’ve been watching a lets play of rainworld and now I just what to draw concept art and stuff. Probably for things I’ll never make but hey it’s good practice. I might make a part 2 or something.
A Kind Visitor
A companion piece to Dangers on the Cat Walk. I think i’m going to a make a mini series.
Left Behind Odds and Ends
A short 8 page comic submission for an anthology I decided to pull out from. It’s about a bird alien that falls for a robot from out of space.
Ambush
I wanted to try drawing a more nature based setting. Our cat friend fending off a group of barracheetas.
Inktober 1
Forgotten Giant
colored and sketched in krita inked with staedtler fineliners
A Gargoyle
Just a little bit of shading practice
More shading practice , this time a dragon rider. I haven’t drawn a dragon in quite some time.
I’m making a Panzer Dragoon based tarot deck. Hopefully I can make a print of these once i’m done.
1. The Dragon
The Dragon is a powerful pure-type monster from an ancient age. Its strength is a reminder of a once powerful age and its appearance in the sky is an omen, a prophetic message of things to come. Those who bear witness to The Dragon are bound almost by fate to a greater purpose.
The Dragon represents the coming of change, personal growth, and pilgrimage. Those who have the Dragon should be weary of the coming trials of the future and the mechanization of powerful enemies.

2. The Riders
The Rider or Riders are those who ride the Dragon. The Dragon cannot meet its true potential without a Rider and they are the ones at the center of a great quest. The Rider is an enigmatic figure whose origins are often left behind in history with the beasts they ride.
The Rider represents companionship, legacy, and guidance. Those who bare the Rider will find mentors in themselves and those who came before them.
This one took longer than I thought it would. I’m still iffy on the design but I think it gets the point across.

3. The Drone
The Drone is a pure-type monster in the shape of a human. They are relics of a bygone era and those that persist past ancient times often have an existence lacking purpose. The Drone is the holder of forbidden ancient knowledge and the keeper of hidden agendas.
The Drone represents servitude, dedication and obfuscation of truths. Those who wield the Drone will find their livelihood in the control of others and their future chained heavily by past transgressions.
This one is a bit unconventional but I wanted to maintain the sort of dream-like, surrealness of regular tarot card.
