Description: Gaz gets caught somewhere he shouldn’t be. He has nothing to defend himself with either. He’s running on pure adrenaline and fear.

A/n: This is just a little thought I had. I’m very tempted to make a pt. 2 though.

Get in and get out. Get in and get out. In then out. In then out. This was racing through Gaz’s mind as he frantically tore apart the room. He had no ammo. He had nothing to defend himself. He couldn’t afford to get caught.

“Don’t waste time! Find it and get the hell out of there!” He heard Soap yell from the comms.

“I’m trying!” Gaz whisper-yelled as he threw open a drawer. He needed a certain file. This file was needed to get the team too the next stage of the mission, but he couldn’t see to fucking find it.

“Where is it…” He whispered to himself.

He’s been in the stupid building longer than he’d like. He’d been at this for hours. He was so tired. He was running on pure adrenaline.

“Someone’s headed your way, I won’t be able to see him from this point. You’re on your own.” Soap said.

Get in and get out. Get in and get out. “Get in and get out. Damn it!” Gaz’s frustration grew with every second.

He stood back, his hand on his head in a fit of stress. He frantically looked around the room. His eyes caught a small bit of yellow stuck under a keyboard. He ran up to the desk, throwing the keyboard to the side, grabbing the file. He opened it and smiled.

“Fuck yeah!”

His victory was quickly shut down when he felt something press into his back. His heartbeat quickened as he slowly realized what it was.

The stranger let out a small click as he shoved the gun further into the man’s back. “Look.. I could care less about that file, but.. My office. You trashed my office.”

Gaz tried to swallow the lump in his throat. He could hear his heartbeat in his ears.

“The least you could do is leave the file.” The man said.

Gaz stayed silent, scared if he said anything he’d end up with a bullet in his back.

“Turn around.” The man ordered.

Gaz slowly turned around. From the outside, you would never be able to tell he was scared shitless. Get in and get out. More like get in and get caught.

“How are we lookin’, Gaz?” Soap asked, not being able to see the situation.

When Gaz reached to respond, the enemy took his gun and smashed it into Kyle’s hand. Kyle hissed in pain as he gripped his hand. The man then kneed him in the stomach, causing the soldier to choke and fall forward on his knees.

“Gaz?” Soap asked.

The man pressed the gun against Gaz’s head. “You want that file?”

“Yes.” Gaz said in a broken voice. His stomach is still aching.

“Tell your little friend you ran into trouble, but you’re fine.” Y/n said.

Gaz now looked up at him. He was frozen. When he made no move for the comms, y/n rose a brow.

He then slowly reached up to the comms.

“Gaz?! Are you al-”

“I’m good… I-... I found the file..” His breathing was heavy. “I.. I ran into a little trouble, but I’m fine! I’ll see you soon, S-... I’ll see you soon.” He didn’t want to say any names, even if Soap was only a codename.

“Good.” Y/n brought the gun up as if he was about to hit Gaz with it.

Gaz’s eyes were now screwed shut as he awaited for the impact. The gun hit the comm, breaking it. Gaz groaned as it still hit him.

Y/n put his gun back in its holster. He then grabbed his spinny chair, pulling it closer, gesturing to it. “Get up and sit down.”

Gaz slowly got up, taking a seat in the chair.

Y/n leaned against the table behind him and smiled. “You a bitch.” Gaz’s eyes widened in surprise. “Look, you can take the file, but you’re gonna tell me everything I need to know.”
