It’s 2025. BBC Sherlock ended 8 years ago. The last season was so bad the fans didn’t even want to talk about it when it came out. Occasionally a post resurfaces where we all laugh at struggling to plug our phones in and being called alcoholics. Every time, there are more and more people in the comments who don’t get the joke. There are two currently airing Sherlock Holmes audio dramas that both portray a queer Holmes (as well as several other excellent queer characters), and one of them now has Holmes and Watson in a canonical romantic relationship. There’s an adorable crowdfunded short film where Watson plans Holmes’ birthday party and they flirt with each other, share a bed, plan their retirement, and kiss on the mouth. A video game about retired beekeeper Holmes just released where he arranges a romantic picnic so he can finally tell Watson how he feels. A popular graphic novelist just released the first part of a queer comic book retelling of the complete Holmes canon and had to do several rounds of preorders because she kept selling out too fast. Sherlock is garbage and here’s why has 15 million views on YouTube. Nature is healing. ❤️🐝

I’m so utterly insane about the gunshot hiding/impromptu surgery/multitasking scene in m:i8. Benji really filling all those fanfic tropes - ESPECIALLY hiding wound from a loved one.

Although MI:8 was an amazing film, we did get robbed of all the Benthan content. Kinda want to write a fic about if Benji took Grace's spot in pulling Ethan from the ice now in response to them pulling the forehead touch

Coulson is a busy dude, but he still takes care of his family team.

He receives contact from May saying they're on their way back from an op with an ETA. He sets his alarm for an hour before they're supposed to get back so he can check in with May and get an update. Then he sets his alarm again for 15 minutes before they're supposed to land.

He goes down to the kitchen and makes sure there's two fresh pots of coffee for when they touch down. Makes sure all the coffee mugs in the sink that still need to be washed are cleaned, dried off, and ready for filling. Pulls the sugar and powdered creamer out and sets it on the counter. Grabs the stir sticks and sets them out as well. By the time he puts on a kettle for hot water and pulls the green tea box out for his wife May, the first few agents from the op are already entering the kitchen, thanking him for the fresh pots of coffee.

May and Daisy are the last to come in (about 30 minutes after touch down). Coulson has three mugs left on the counter: one for him, one for his kid Daisy, and one with May's tea steeped to her liking, still steaming. Sometimes Daisy grabs her mug, thanks him, and retreats to her bunk to get her paperwork done and hit the hay as soon as she can... Which gives May a chance for some one on one time with Coulson and debrief him personally on the nitty gritty details. Other times, Daisy wants to hang out with her dad boss for a small reprieve before getting back to work. Coming home to some stupid dad jokes she can scoff and roll her eyes at is a comfort sometimes, especially after a mission that didn't go quite right.

Why does Coulson do it? Bc he loves his team and is thankful for them everyday... And it gets him away from his desk for a little bit so he doesn't go cross-eyed from doing all that damn paperwork.

This edit truly encapsulates why I adored LMD!May as much as I did. She had that extra layer as apposed to the other LMD copies and her sacrifice genuinely broke my heart.

All she wanted was to be the real May.

And god, even as a literal robot, it just shows how strong May’s loyalty and love for the team is, and how far she’d go for them. Every single version of May proves that.
