The funny thing is that from my childhood I remembered Martin the Warrior as this self-isolated stoic hero. Quiet and calm. Mostly. But he is actually as unstable as Tsarmina. Ready to yell and wreak havoc at any sign of danger. Why didn't I remember this? When I re-read books I was like why are you doing this you are only making it worse!!! 80% of the time.>w< But it's more fun this way.

I found so many posts saying X Redwall character is [some form of gay]. I don’t have the mental energy to reblog them all, but I just want to say: yes. Every single one of them is correct.

So I’m rewatching the Martin the Warrior tv adaptation and, while I love it dearly, it would’ve been over so much faster if Badrang had ever just went ahead and killed someone.

Honestly Flinky is one of my favorite Loamhedge characters. I just love it when vermin characters get the opportunity to be intelligent or interested in an at least mildly peaceful life. He gets both!! Pop off!! Genuinely don’t remember if he lives or dies, we’ll see when I finish this reread
