Inspired by comments I received from my writing group, I decided to tweak my plot. But ... looking at my plot spreadsheet and at my many notes I felt overwhelmed. Solution (for today,at least) I created a mind map for my story. In the map, major the two nodes are: reality, in universe (e.g. what is allowed to happen in the story’s world). These have sub nodes of locations, technology, big events and characters. I’m hopeful this will help me make decisions about my wip’s plot.
Thank you @the-wip-project for this challenge!
I keep seeing this on facebook and the freemasons are reducing the image quality so I thought I’d upload it here and see
Hello! I was rewatching season 3 because ... clexa and realized this. Clarke’s room in the tower is directly under the throne room. Which means that in Season 3 Episode 3, Clarke may have witnessed the Azgeda Ambassador fall past her window after Lexa pushed him off the tower. After Clarke and Lexa’s confrontation, Clarke returns to her room’s window. If we assume Lexa went directly up to her throne room after said confrontation, then Clarke seeing a falling body is a distinct possibility. Who knows, she may even have heard the confrontation in the throne room!
Here is a shot of Lexa standing on the balcony outside of the throne room at the end of Season 3 Episode 2. Note the shape of the balcony and the statues that “hold it up”.
Episode 3 starts with a scan up Polis Tower to Clarke’s bedroom. Just before it closes in on Clarke in the window, we see the top of the tower, including the Throne Room and balcony.
The camera closes in on our fearless Wanheda brooding while looking at the view. Note the statues on either side of the window.
How I wish they had filmed Clarke’s Reaction!
Hello everyone, I’m looking for a fiction that I read on Wattpad where Clarke and Lexa are forced to work together on a project for the company of Lexa’s family, Clarke at first has a relationship with Fin (musician) , later on the courtship of lexa who just wants to take her to bed ,breakup with Fin.. I remember that in this ficition Anya and raven have a daughter , lexa’s nephew who carries with her a tin for bad words. I remember that fiction have a second part of a fiction, where Clarke e Lexa are in a relationship and live together, and for a mistake Clarke was pregnant with the real son of Lexa. Please please help me
If a website has a paywall, like New York Times, DO NOT use the ctrl+A shortcut then the ctrl+c shortcut as fast as you can because then you may accidentally copy the entire article before the paywall comes up. And definitely don't do ctrl+v into the next google doc or whatever you open because then you will accidentally paste the entire article into a google doc or something!!!! I repeat DO NOT do this because it is piracy which is absolutely totally wrong!!!
People keep asking “How can anyone have a problem with AO3 doing fundraising!”
And I’m just like…. Have people not noticed all the virulent anti-AO3 hate on tumblr propagated by the anti shipping community? Antis have a problem with AO3 raising money because they hate the fact that AO3 won’t allow them to censor content they don’t like and doesn’t tolerate bullying. That’s who is putting out these posts like, “how can this nasty site raise so much money?” Read between the lines.
And for all the people who are just like, “If they don’t want AO3 to to raise money why don’t they just not donate?”
Because antis are incapable of saying “this isn’t for me so I won’t support it but I don’t care if other people support it. They have to actively discourage other people from supporting the thing. At the same time, they also won’t stop using AO3 because 1) they’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites who want readership and that’s where the readers are and 2) they’re too lazy to put together their own archive using AO3′s open source code because that would require doing coding and buying servers and doing all the moderating they want, which is hard, and they just want to engage in empty virtue signalling, which is easy
Anyway, my point is, people need to be aware that these people are out there and they hate AO3 and they want it to go away even though they’re actively using the platform. They’ve even said they want AO3 to fail so something “better” (re, something they control) can take its place. Some of them are blatant about it, calling AO3 a cesspit of pedophilia, and some of them are subtle about it, saying more innocuous things like ‘Does AO3 really need 130K a year?” “Shouldn’t you give your money to individual needy people doing gofundmes for stuff that’s more more important?”
But all of these people have the same end goal, which is the destruction of the archive, and the way they’re going about it right now is to try to discourage people from donating.
So instead of asking, “Why do people object to AO3 raising money?” start telling people “Hey there are people out there who hate AO3 and want to destroy it and we have to protect the archive from them.” And donate, if you can, and signal boost, if you can’t.
of @the-wip-project‘s challenge:
Q38: What comes first, plot or characters?
A28: 100% characters. The plot is how they react and what changes them.
