OR
Or I combine those two ideas into:
MC is arranged to be married to a prince from a neighboring kingdom, with the secret mission to steal and harness their source of magic. One night, she transforms into a bird monster, and is discovered by the Prince's loyal knight when transforming back. He keeps her secret and they grow close, but she continues with her mission behind his back. In this, she grows conflicted between her home and the people who have put their trust in her
Hey so.. I don't know if anyone still follows me. Or is interested in my writing. I completely abandoned my last major project that I used to post about--a while ago--and I've recently gotten back into writing. I'm starting a new WIP but I'm stuck between two plots, if anyone cares to share their opinions :)
A.) Knight finds a girl with amnesia who turns into a bird monster, and he just became a fugitive. So he takes her and they go into hiding, fighting shadow monsters and working to get her memory back.
B.) Noblewoman is set up to marry a prince from a neighboring kingdom, but is actually sent to steal the source of magic from their neighbors. Instead, she falls for the prince's knight. ...instead of the prince.
Unless these are both stupid/need to be workshopped, my DMs and Asks are open to anyone with constructive criticism!! Or any other writers wanting to talk (I need more writer friends) đ
The Weekly Writing Update #18
12.03.22
OK UPDATE BEFORE MIDNIGHT BECAUSE I FORGOT TO DO IT EARLIER SHIT
⨠I started to work on chapter one, but itâs still going VERY slowly. Like a-word-a-day slowly
⨠slight plot adjustments again, but still generally the same
Other than that, not much. Ive still had little no progress in terms of actual writing because nothing comes to me when I sit down in front of a blank page. Also Iâm working so much I donât have time.
watching characters try to fight the narrative like i'm a roman senator at the coliseum
The Weekly Writing Update #23
1.7.23
First update of the new year! And I actually have a bit of progress!
Iâm in the process on deciding on a huge but slight change in the plot/character subplot, still deciding. But other than that, I actually did write a few hundred words of the first chapter! Which is a very good start. I need someone to harass me into keeping this one though, so I donât chicken out and change this later. PLEASE (Iâll probably just get my boyfriendddd~~ to do it)
Itâs slow progress this week but itâs progress, which is more than I can say for the past few weeks.
LOVE YOU ALL,
I think the reason Iâm spiraling so bad and wanting to just delete my whole wip is because I have no one to talk ideas out with because all my writer friends just dropped off the face of the earth </3
The Weekly Writing Update: #11
10.15.22
No update this week because Iâve had no progress. :(
@ fanfic authors: donât apologise for writing filler chapters! i see this all the time!! filler chapters are so important to narrative pacing! a story needs downtime so the faster paced or denser elements have room to breathe! youâre writing a well balanced story!!! also, youâre giving me that filler for free! thats crazy!!! thats so kind of you!!! thank you for this gift!!!!!!

yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
you don't have to include their real actual names and you don't have to have main characters with every single one of these things. But neurodivergent and mentally ill people should EXIST in fantasy stories and fantasy societies, because we exist in real life. We deserve to be acknowledged.
The Weekly Writing Update #6
09.10.22
This past week has been and this next week will be spent outlining the plot down to each chapter. Up till now, itâs been a bunch of ideas all vaguely spread out between beginning, middle, and end. But itâs caused a lot of chaos and Iâve changed and rewritten the plot many times, so a chapter-by-chapter layout of the plot will do me MUCH good :)
The past week, I got the chart set up and started a little bit. But this next week I plan to work on it way more and hopefully complete it!
Here is the chart layout btw if anyone wants it use it!
XOXO~
