Everyone is discussing the new death screen in the new ULTRAKILL update, but why is no one talking about the disturbing screams we hear from the flaming tombs the heretics are sealed in from the revamped 6-1: Cry from the Weeper level?
Like, Jesus fucking Christ, that's terrifying.
Not to mention that it's just edgy and clashes with the efficiency his brutality is known for. It feels like a Glory Kill tbat should've been reserved for a bastard demonic despot instead of an actual war hero. It doesn't really help that the research botched the Slayer's personality and characterization in his own analysis section, too, but that's a whole other thing on its own.
I think it's okay for people to dislike what happens to Chief because he really hasn't done anything to deserve it. It just makes them feel bad.
I will say, Gianni Matragrano absolutely nailed it as the Slayer. I might honestly prefer his delivery on the "Rip & Tear" more than the one from DOOM Eternal, even though it wasn't that bad.
The new death battle was good but the main reaction you see on Reddit was that there was to much death like look at the name of the show you’re watching
For anyone wanting the SFX of the Icon of Sin from DOOM Eternal: You’re welcome.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - DIO’s Grandiose Entrance (Ghidorah Edition)
Before any of y’all ask, DIO’s isolated lines were from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records, where they have clear versions of the voice lines. I couldn’t do anything about Polnareff’s lines though since those lines are absent.
Music: Fog Over Fenway + Ghidorah Theme by Bear McCreary
SFX from Yasumasa Koyama. Credit to Jojo’s Bizarre Sound Design for them.
The Machine Who Sold the Inferno
Someone had to do it.
For the first anniversary of my all-time favorite film, here’s Burning Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah rescored with “Fire God Ascension” by Wilbert Roget. II from Mortal Kombat 11.
This time, credit to Landry Miller on YouTube for the musicless scene.
I don’t like that people are shooting down the “v1 kills for fun” interpretation. Obviously v1 is killing to live, but there’s nothing saying it’s not having fun doing so. The style meter could be completely utilitarian so it can benefit from the terminals, it could be a source of fun, or it could be a coping mechanism. No one knows! It just bothers me when people act like there’s a set V1 and not that the character is open to a ton of differing interpretations. Scared V1 is cool and asshole V1 that realizes the full severity of its situation only just before it’s about to die is also cool.
