You are:
The standards you uphold
The boundaries you enforce
The habits you repeat
The thoughts you entertain
The energy you allow
The risks you take
The way you speak to yourself
The love you accept
The beliefs you challenge
The discipline you maintain
The company you keep
Choose wisely
having self worth makes you unstoppable, you no longer care for people’s thoughts, you no longer seek validation from the wrong people, you are free. you are free to be whomever you want to be.

You really have to be judicious when approaching the dating scene. It’s fine to consult and ask friends for advice, but don’t take advice from someone who’s decisions/values/beliefs/morals don’t align with yours. Don’t let the clingy friend give you advice, don’t let the cynical friend brainwash you, don’t let the impatient friend convince you of something you don’t believe. Sure, at any one given time, one of them may be right, but what do you think? How do you feel? You are not your friends.
"I'll walk with you" is just an excuse to spend more time with someone before they go and that's romantic as fuck
“Now every time I witness a strong person, I want to know: What darkness did you conquer in your story? Mountains do not rise without earthquakes.”
— Unknown
“I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating.” - Henry David Thoreau, Walden
“Wherever you are, be all there.”
— Ram Dass
