You know what? No one can stop me from advertising my silly little fics on this site, so I'm gonna!

The Pegasus is a rewrite of Our Flag Means Death that I'm writing that features my OC, Leon McIntyre.

Leon is an Irish trans man who ran away to become a pirate after killing his older sister's husband in self-defense. He's been a pirate for around twenty years at this point, and he rarely stays with the same crew for long.

Blackbeard's crew is the exception. He's been with them longer than he's been with any other crew. But when he meets Stede Bonnet, the entire dynamic of the crew changes.

I'm probably gonna rewrite a lot of the prologue chapter, if not all of it. And I might rewrite quite a bit of the first chapter as well, as I was still workshopping a lot of Leon's personality when I was writing those chapters.

It's gonna eventually be a Leon/Izzy fic, but it's also going to focus on Leon's own character arc of redefining what family means to him, learning to trust people, and addressing that compulsive people-pleasing can be a flaw. It's also gonna hopefully show a lot of the dynamics between the crew that we don't get a chance to see in the show

And maybe the plot will change! Who knows!

The whole "The Pegasus" series are all fics that involve Leon in some way. Not all of them are canon to the main fic. But Leon is there!

And I'm still working on the Izzy x Reader fics I've been sent! So please keep those requests coming!! I can't promise I'll be able to get to all of them, but I'm working on them.

Can we talk about how sad s4 will be for Five? Everyone else can go off and start a new life and he can't, he is stuck in his child body and will never be able to make friends that are his ACTUAL age. Five can never start a family or rebuild his life and with the commission gone along with his powers, the two things that have given him meaning in life, he is now stuck with nothing. All his siblings blame him for taking everything they had in the 60s, yet he has lost the most. AND on top of that he is his own worst enemy. The commission who took away his shot at life and made him into a different person AND WELL TOOK EVERYTHING FROM HIM, was created by himself. Everything has been his own downfall and mistakes. He probably blames himself for the 60s time travel mistake and the whole sparrows mess and probably everything and then in s3 we see his own family blaming him for this mess when all he wants to do is fulfill his only purpose of keeping his family safe and somewhat togather. Five is now stuck with no purpose and nothing. His teenage years stripped from him due to the commission, that he created. Five's story is truly tragic.
