Follows Otto and his imaginary friend, Jeffrey, in the struggle of accepting an imaginary friend well into adolescence.

Hi all,  I’ve gone ahead and (finally) uploaded last year’s one-shot comic “My Friend Jeffrey” to Tapastic (comics reader).  If I’m honest, I’m incredibly proud of myself for being able to pump out these 23 pages in basically a month and a half. The art surely isn’t my best, and there is notably more photograph splicing in this comic than in my more recent works I’ve yet to release. Though, despite my personal feelings of a lack in visual quality in this work, I don’t think I’ve felt so energized since drawing this one. With college continuing and my PBS (painful bladder syndrome) not having improved much at all, I feel lethargic and stagnant more and more, no matter how hard I work. My PBS truly does make exerting myself so difficult, but… let’s not go into my health status much currently. I try to not complain or make mentions of my health much lately because of the vast amount of criticism I’ve received from others about being “complaning,” “too much,” or “needy.”  nbsp; I share this comic in hopes of it bringing on some sort of ironic joy, though any reaction at all is more than I’d ask for. Finished reading Sim Sim Magica by @chu_nap (+ @punimelt, @mushbuh) so did a quick doodle of Galey on my stream here on IG last night (￣ ￣)👌🏻

Shoutouts to @peowstudio and whoever was in charge of the book design at all. I think the way Peow prints their books is great, which is often taken for granted here in North America. Happy to see a sorta manga inspired publisher really focus on intentional and interactive cover design that doesn’t have a “THIS IS MANGA!!” approach. I didn’t show a pic but there’s artwork under the book cover too. I’ll post pics of that when I post my other doodle of another character sometime. Idk I just really enjoy nicely designed books and don’t think I shut up about that at the Peow booth at AnimeNYC lol
