For example, I almost didn't go on the first date with my husband. That day I woke up feeling horrible, strep was going around my work so I went to my doctor to get tested. I had told him we should probably cancel. He was so nice about it, as opposed to the string of shitty dudes I went out with. I told him if the test was negative then I would go out with him still if he didn't mind me being a bit stuffy. I was so nervous waiting for him to get to the restaurant and then everything just went so well. At the end he asked if I would like to walk around town, do something else, or go meet his dog Sasha. I picked the dog lol while at his house things obviously led to some kissing and he made sure that I knew I was in control of the entire situation. We I left that night he was already texting me to make sure I got home safe and plan our next date. In one date this man made me feel more respected and wanted than my last relationship ever truly did. And I almost had canceled. I'm forever grateful I followed my gut that night and met my wonderful husband. Who since the first date has never stopped making me feel loved, wanted, respected, supported and like the center of his world.

When I first moved in with my husband it took a while for our house to feel like it was mine too. We slowly sorted through everything and got all the excess stuff out so i could really dive in. I have always loved transforming the spaces in our home into enjoyable, usable, and cozy. As well as putting up decorations and adding other things makes me happy lol.
