oh god uhhh, here have this! It's the lone ranger
My friend came up with the cutest idea of not just drawing OOTD's, but drawing -- mousefits! So of course I had to make some, featuring two Pyne and Smith dresses I've been living in lately. š
Thinking abt how much I love physical media lately. I don't think streaming services can replace the feeling of an actual, physical copy that I can hold in my hands, especially when I think about the box sets of shows I've had since childhood, lost their covers, corners are scuffed, etc. Same goes for comics - I have a handful of original printed comics and just being able to see the ads from the era makes me so happy lol. The ADS. I am NEVER happy to see an ad in the middle of an episode I'm watching on a streaming service!! Ik everyone's joking about DVDs making a comeback bc streaming services are getting worse but please I am all for it. I hoard those. They are mine forever, unlike a paid subscription. They can pry my 20 year old DVDs from my cold dead hands.

Also - to elaborate on to this, I wasn't planning on adding fantasy creatures in the world that this would be taking place in, but damn... it's so tempting to just stick a unicorn in there SO if they did exist they would be essentially immortal, although they could be killed. They'd be smaller than a horse, like pony-sized, but look slightly different, more like a generic ungulate. Their hair would be kind of coarse and bushy and hang over their eyes, they'd also have feathering around their hooves. Their tails would be extremely long and have a floof at the end. I'm thinking they're also omnivores, as I think the idea of a creature symbolizing beauty and purity also having sharp teeth and the ability to eat meat is kind of. yeah absolutely why not! Idk how magical they are but they have some funky abilities I guess š
I've been hyperfixating SO BAD this week my brain is actually melting aghshddjdj.... I'm onto something with my princess and knight I swear.......... anyways I got stuck on unicorns yesterday and I already have an unhealthy obsession with the Unicorn Tapestries, so I wanted to make a piece inspired by that with the princess from a previous post :)
Here's a drawing I did last year!! this was the first of a bunch of redesigns I did of Batman villains, I wanted to make them more vintage and add some of the l original inspirations in there. As well as more old horror movie tie ins because I'm a nerd lol. Here goes
I based Two-Face off of the 1931 Dr. Jeykll and Mr. Hyde, as well as the purple and orange suit he originally wears in the comics. I gave him pinstripes and a hat because they would do that to all the goons in old movies and I think it's really funny lol.
Catwoman was based sort of on a lady from The Cat People (1942), she's kinda cool, I would def redo her now but it is what it is!
Last one is Clayface!! This one was actually my favorite, he's got a looooot of old movie inspo, I based him off of the villain in Dr. X (1932), who was a guy who slapped "synthetic flesh" on his face and molded it to look grotesque. That was basically the premise of the original comic Clayface! I put him in the clothes that Lon Chaney wears as the Phantom because Clayface was inspired by the man the myth the legend himself, the man of a thousand faces. Two Phantom posts in a row yeesh you guys are getting it all. No idea what he's doing with his hand lmao. Also not saying I predicted Caped Crusader's Clayface buuuuut.....
Have a great day everybody go watch an old horror movie~
