Censorship will not solve a single problem. Putting ban and restrictions on AO3 will drive creators away. You won’t be making your platform look appealing to outsiders. You’re destroying your own platform by driving the majority of your creators away.

The exact same thing happened to fanfiction.net and Tumblr. So many people quit. AO3 is one of the very few platforms creators have.

Censorship does not solve any problem. It does harm to creators.

i love them all but mikey is my fav overall bc he's fun, a foodie(i <3 cheese), ADHD(easy to see, i am adhd too) and emotionally smart(i like to think that i am as well). i really want someone who's fun and relatable to me in my life, plus all the turtles are huggable and need hugs in my opinion.

Thinking about the difference between queer tmnt fans based on their favorite turtle has been very interesting cause Leo is my favorite but every other queer person I meet loves Donnie (which fair he’s great they all are).

And the thing I think it is (besides my OCD and type of autism) is the different in gifted kids. Cause like if you identified with either you were a gifted kid.

Like Donnie lovers give Gifted Kid burnout.

Leo lovers are Gifted Kid Greek Fire. Am I burning? Yes. It hurts but like if I don’t burn I’m not like existing as a person. Like if I’m not obsessively pursuing something I am not doing well.

So it’s Gifted Kid burnout if you kept sticking your hand back in the oven. It’s really not good as a coping mechanism.
