Can someone explain to me why people are boycotting the new Percy Jackson series. I understand that Disney is evil for different reasons, but why does this boycott seem to only happen when talking about Percy Jackson? I am genuinely curious and would love for someone to help me understand. Thanks ✌️
Percy: It 's over. We won.
[Behind Percy the monster slowly stands backs up]
Jason:
Leo:
Annabeth: [starts to point] Percy…
Percy: No. We won. I’m not turning around and looking at it. We Won.
Jesper: You just killed a man
Kaz: He wasnt a very nice man though was he?
Jesper: No he really wasnt
Kaz & Jesper: *giggling*
Jesper: Stop, we cant laugh its a crime scene
Kaz: You’re the one who shot him, dont blame me
i think that scene in botl when annabeth sits at the poseidon table and percy is quaking in his boots is an accurate representation of how they value following the rules. if you think about it, the only time percy purposefully breaks a rule is when he absolutely has to. like, when he illegally joined a quest to save his best friend who was held hostage...twice. otherwise, percy tries his best to behave. annabeth, on the other hand, will commit arson for fun. and we love them both equally.
annual reminder that the meta reason for why Percy’s birthday is August 18th is that mid-August is the height of the Perseids meteor shower every year. Named as such because the meteors appear to emanate from the constellation Perseus, of course named for the Greek mythological hero that Percy was named after.
imagine creating a silly little story for your kid, and years later, they light the empire state building in blue to celebrate the silly little character you created. must be crazy
Kon: Tim...remember your principles...
Tim: I don't have principles, Batman has principles, and I follow them because I have daddy issues.
Kon: Then, remember Batman's principles..?
Tim: Man, fuck Batman!
"Hmmmm my son just expressed displeasure at being sent away to boarding school throughout his childhood and feels like he was being pawned off so his mother and I wouldn't have to bother with him. But he keeps acting out and I don't know what to do. I know! I'll send him away to another fucking boarding school-"
the way that luke gave annabeth the dagger and taught her to fight, while percy offered her the sword so he could fight in her place... something something annabeth being taught to be a weapon something something annabeth being taught she doesn't have to be, being taught she is worth being defended
Redrawing them as this meme
Trying out different colouring styles don't mind me
