so are you a grown man fixated on staying in fantasies where you live out the childhood your comatose kid brother might not get to have or are you an abused child who grew up too fast that dreams of being an adult in a world full of bitter and hurt but ultimately unfailingly kind people or are you a grieving mother dreaming up a reality-breaking way for your deceased child to still have a chance to grow up and know you love him or are you normal

This is why I find it funny when people say they're similar. The similarities don't go much deeper than the general sound of their music, and even in that regard, they're still quite different. I believe WW and LD fans overlap because the two artists both make "weird music"; songs about unusual topics. Like sentient arcade machines, or... whatever Will's music is about.

It's funny how Lemon Demon and Will Wood fans seem to intersect, because the way I see it, they're artists with completely opposite sensibilities.

Will Wood sings about serious topics in an irreverent way, whereas Lemon Demon sings about silly topics in a sincere way.

Will Wood's themes are often intellectual and deep, whereas Lemon Demon's are often nerdy and frivolous.

Will Wood often borrows words and images from mental health terminology to spirituality, less to provide a specific meaning, but to create a general vibe.

Lemon Demon on the other hand will often focus on a specific topic and thoroughly explore it. Exhaust the kind of things that could be said about it.

They both make bangers though.

Been seeing some reviews calling new WoF guidebook disappointing, but I thought it was really cute. I enjoyed it!! I get that people hoped it would reveal more of the culture/lore of the tribes (I too am starving for MudWing content), but I think it's about time people realize Tui doesn't really seem interested in that... I think she prefers to focus on characters and stories. And that's fine, honestly. People should stop pressuring Tui to take her series in a direction she may not want to take.

I need every single person to understand how horrible tumblr’s tagging system is

I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.
