theres something that grips me so about the fact that the Shape lures people in and sort of keeps them calm so it can latch on by giving them memories/hallucinations of the people they love. For instance:
Caz gets visions and audible hallucinations of his wife.
Finlay hears her son singing.
O'Connor thinks about this Mary person and asks to see her.
Gibbo asks for his mom.
But Muir asks for Innes, literally theres like 4 lines in his infected lines where hes asking for Innes, saying he just needs to find Innes and get help, like,,,,,, holy shit yall, holy shit
More SWTD Second Chance AU Thoughts!
Obviously, the crew can't just all stop working on the rig (despite no one but Caz being ok to work), so characters like Finlay, Addair, and Gibbo have to work, or else the rig would break down.
Roper threatens to throw anyone who tries to start the drill overboard. Brodie threatens to do the same to anyone that mentions Raffs going in the dive bell.
The crew is fairly divided on whether or not to tell Caz about what happened 'yesterday'. One side thinks he went through enough for them all, and it would be kinder to let him live in ignorance. The other side wants to tell him to see if it'll jog his memory so he can tell them what the hell he did to restart the day.
(The answer would be nothing. He'd be as confused as everyone else.)
After the day shift ends, there's a long line of people at the radio room waiting to call their loved ones. Gibbo is the first one there.
The crewmates' memories of 'yesterday' end at their deaths, so Innes has no idea about the chopper crashing or Rennick turning (or Muir carrying him around for hours).
But most people remember how hard Caz tried to save them all. O'Connor and Trots both remember vividly how Caz apologized for not being able to help them.
Once Trots is finished with his panic attack, he goes to the radio room to start calling in every favor he has with the NSOWU to get the Beira decommissioned.
The darts finale is postponed until further notice.
One thing I would've changed about the 7th TF2 comic would've been to keep the mercs as mercs instead of them (or some of them) fully giving it up.
Like, instead of working for whatever the hell Mann Co ended up doing, they became a group of mercenary freelancers together like how the Team Fortress Classic mercs did.
For example, Spy and Engineer (or maybe even Miss Pauling) being in charge of accepting jobs and assigning themselves and the others to what specific job the assignment needs.
Rich guy needs a bodyguard for a week? Get Heavy and keep Sniper on standby just in case.
Need someone assassinated and another guy framed? Engie just finished upgrading Spys disguise kit!
Need a building burnt to the ground with no survivors? The mercs are already drawing straws for who gets to supervise Pyro this time.
All the while, they're also raising their kids/baboon as mercs, too! (All right, kids, who's ready to learn how to do medicine with Uncle Ludwig!) Soldiers' daughter already knows how to snap necks, Scouts blonde son looks like he bites, and I'm honestly surprised no one's drawn Scouts daughter Tanya as a Spy yet.
I really do love the ending of Comic 7, but I'm just saying, a work-balance exists.
(I also would've had Heavy and Medic wear wedding rings, but that's just me)
Oh my god I found the dumbest thing ever. Or Muir was just angry that I kept looking at Innes, sorry pal. Your homie is just sitting there.
I apologise for the random steam notification T_T I will try to make a proper video about random funny bits on yt, but this was too hilarious for me. Tumblr ruins the quality

I feel very uneasy drawing humans, I still need to gain muscle memory on how to draw them from memory and or reference.
Ohno Innes merged with him-
This entire part fucked me up so bad why is nobody talking about it
I cant believe Korra canonically could not catch a break her whole god damn life
