It Literally Ends Up Being My Initials: H. B.

Draw characters from different angles instead of just the stale flat shots. That's dull. Try over the shoulder, from below the chest, something with foreshortening. It gives the drawing way more flavor. And if you want to generally improve your skills, draw stuff from life with as much attention to detail as possible. Especially when it comes to shadows. Not everything is just a singular blob of... something, they have texture and are made of different materials. I hope this is helpful!

Well, there’s two things I tried. I finally figured out how to get them to rotate. I know it was a while ago, sorry. I’d say be nice, but I don’t expect nor want that. Hee. I’ve been working on shadows as well. Been shading a lot of texture balls in class, but I didn’t manage to snap a picture. Anyway, have a wonderful day!

When someone is suddenly liking all your old art...

Thank you so much! You have no idea how much this means to me. I can't describe it in words! This is so beautiful and I'm hiding in the bathroom at work cause I gots the tears leaking from my seeing holes.

Last October I drew a picture everyday to people I appreciate here on Tumblr and have thought about doing so this July as well. (Ik it’s not July yet, but I’ve waited long enough~ X3) Btw, just have to apologize to the people who got an art back in October, just know you’re still awesome, but just want to be fair and give to new ppl this time… 😶

HAHA! Silly me

My first gens deserved some special attention so I bought breed changes for them. They went from being tiny Faes to a female Pearlcatcher and a male Spiral and they look AMAZING!!! Then I realized....

Oops. The female is like ten times his size!!! But that’ s okay. Charm still loves her happy little noodle boy.

Mmmm... I want to draw. Any ideas? Requests? Send an ask/message pls!

WIP! Line art. Didn’t get a chance to snap a picture of the sketch, but I’m gonna to this as a progress thing. We’ll see how it goes.  BTW, this paper is huge compared to normal. It’s like two by three feet. Bleh! Lot’s of paper to cover. Time to break out the colored pencils. :P

Maybe try doing some drawings entirely in pen, or maybe with a basic pencil outline/shapes THEN pen, it helps make it overall look better and get better at drawing.

AHHHHHhhdhdjdngif!! Inner me is screaming. Pen... A perfectionist weakness. But I can try. Lets see if I can whip something up. Hm....
