Favorite rat man recently dropped, gotta bully him now.
This was such a little brother moment
I genuinely don't know if anyone has already made this idea before me yet. I just wanted to post something about the game.
heyo! Uhh idk how the request thing works, but I notice that some is able to request with ocs. But I wanna know how it works before I just dive headfirst into it. So is it okay if you explain the rules to that? (if there are rules-) <:]

Can you do a platonic Doey x reader where they're playing hide and seek with all the toys, but when Doey find the reader he gets a little creepy because he couldn't find them anywhere and panicked a bit? (I'm thinking back to the concept art specifically)
Hey, can you do one where Y/N has coffee that's really sweet and Doey, being curious, drinks it and gets really hyper before having a sugar crash?
🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬🍬
Could there maybe be a Y/N having a baking day, like making different cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats and it lures Doey in like a magnet but they tell him to wait till they’re done and invite home to help out? Just thought it would be cute.

Chapter 1: Head Tilts
Sitting comfortably at the living room coffee table, you helped Poppy with her makeup. You were particularly proud of yourself as you had finally found porcelain safe paint, and with it you decided that she could use a new touch up.
She sat comfortably before you, her eyes were shut as you painted some eyeliner on her. You were thankful that the paint you had bought was quick to dry, as you both knew that neither of you wanted to sit here for hours to watch it dry.
“How's that look, Poppy?” You asked, extending a hand mirror to her.
You watched as she examined your work, she had a slight cat eye liner on either eyelid, which, whenever her eyes opened helped to accentuate those baby blues of hers.
“It looks beautiful~!” She gasped, a sound of pure delight leaving her lips.
You smiled, happy to hear that she was satisfied with your work.
“Alright, how about…-” you paused, examine the remaining paint vials. “-we do your nails?” You offered.
“Ooh! I've never had my nails painted before, sure!”
You nod, “What color do you want them to be? We have-...”
Poppy listened as your voice trailed off, listing the remaining colors that were left: black, blue, red, orange, pink, maroon and purple.
You watched as she frowned before turning to you, “Do I have to choose just one?”
You cocked a brow back, “Who said it had to be just ONE?”
Poppy giggled, “I'd like Red, Black and blue. Please!”
“Coming right up!”
As you worked on Poppy’s small nails, you two heard the sounds of heavy footsteps approaching.
You couldn't spare a glance up as you worked so you spoke up; “Kissy?”
“No, it's just me, Angel.” Replied DogDay
You nodded, “Ah! Welcome back, how was laying outside in the sun like?”
“Warm~” He cooed, a lazy grin decorated his lips.
You nodded, “I'm glad…” and felt your voice trail off slightly as you focused on painting Poppy's nails just how she liked it.
DogDay approached the two of you, his head was tilted to the side curiously, “What're you two doing?”
“Painting my nails~” gleamed Poppy.
DogDay quietly watched on, his eyes watching as your skillful fingers decorated her impossibly small nails.
“That… looks like fun.”
“It is!” Exclaimed Poppy, “You should try it!”
“Unfortunately he can't, Poppy”
“Why not?”
You pause your work and motion to his hands, “He doesn't have nails”
DogDay looks down at his hands and takes notice of that fact, his brain brings back faint memory of his companions- The Smiling Critters- and how, out of all of them, there were only two with claws and that was Bobby Bearhug and CatNap.
“That's fine-” Poppy's voice pries DogDay from his thoughts, forcing him to look back at the two of you.
“-we can just get him a shiny new collar! Something with his name and a new brighter sun on it.” She suggests.
DogDay watches as Poppy analyzes her now dry nails, she seems quite satisfied.
You turn to DogDay, with an eyebrow raised in question.
“That depends on you, pup.” You tell him, “I won't buy you one if you won't wear it.”
You watch as he takes a moment to think it over, his head leaning to the side just as before.
“I think…” he paused briefly, “I think I'd like that.”
“You sure?”
He nods, “It would be a great way to celebrate my new life.” He offers and you nod, smiling softly.

Chapter 2: Showing teeth
“{Grrrr…}”
He growled, the noise was low and quite intimidating, especially given the size of the creature of which said noise emitted from.
But you knew him better than anyone else, this was nothing more than just a show.
He's all bark and no bite, especially not for you.
“Don't you DARE growl at ME, mister!!” You exclaimed, “You fucking stink!! You need to be cleaned!”
You watched as Kissy Missy approached him with an apprehensive step forward. On one hand she had a comically large sponge and in the other a bucket of soapy water.
DogDay took yet another step back and reared himself up to appear bigger despite being on all fours.
“{Grrrr!!!}”
The growl that came out from his throat was much deeper now, and the two of you watched as he bared his teeth at you both.
Kissy took a step back and growled in return as if to tell him to ‘back off!’.
You couldn't help but facepalm and sigh frustratedly into your hand.
“DogDay- Oskar- PLEASE-!!” You groaned, pinching the bridge of your nose in frustration, “-just let us clean you and get this over with and I promise you'll get treats.”
You watch as he momentarily lets down his guard, his tail twitching slightly as it wags for a moment before returning back to normal.
“Movie night.” You hear him declare.
“What?” You ask, confused, “What did y-?”
“Movie night-” he parrots, “-and I get to choose.”
You sigh, nodding, “Okay…”
“And-” he starts again, but you watch as he hesitates for a moment, pausing for a moment.
“And?” You egg him on.
“Aaand…” he paused briefly, “...treats?”
You nod, “Yes, you'll get whatever treat you want; belly rubs, snacks, cuddles- you name it. BUT FIRST-” you motion to your own sponge and bucket of soapy water, “-you HAVE to get cleaned. You are NOT tracking anymore mud throughout the house!!”
Behind DogDay lays the chaotic wake of giant mud stains on the hardwood cabin floor. Poppy is not far behind, standing atop a nearby stool looking at the large cabin with a disapproving shake of the head.
“This place is a whole mess, now!” She whined
“Yes, and Kissy and I are going to have to clean it up!!”
You watched as Kissy nodded alongside you, the sounds of a disapproving growl leaving her.
You watched as DogDay finally approached you two, hopping into the bathtub with his tail tucked between his legs.
“Make it quick?” He asked
“Oh no, sir, we're taking our sweet ass time getting you cleaned.” You added.
DogDay watched with a frown as Kissy Missy seemingly ‘giggled’, a playful hand placed over her lips in response to your comment.
And with that DogDay couldn't help but let out a frustrated huff as he felt the still warm soapy water splash down onto him, turning him sopping wet as you two worked diligently at getting him cleaned…

Chapter 3: Biting
You watched from your place on the grass as Kissy Missy held the large heavy rope of twine in her hands steady as the large canid at her feet bit down on it hard.
You could hear him growl as Kissy Missy tried to shake the rope loose from his grasp.
In doing so, she would on occasion, raise the rope over his head and hold it there as DogDay held on, his front paws lifted up in the air as he sat on his hind legs, clinging on.
You heard Poppy snort beside you, “He really is just like a dog, isn't he?” You roll your eyes and glance over to her.
“What?!” She giggled
“Seriously?” You chuckle, motioning to him, “It's in his name, Poppy”
You watched as she burst out in a small fit of laughter and you could help but shake your head, as an amused smile formed on your lips.
Turning back to the scene from before, you now watched as Kissy Missy dragged DogDay around by the end of the rope as the other lazily clung on by the teeth.
It would seem that at some point, DogDay had lost all strength to hold on as he soon let go and was left on the grass panting, his tail wagging at a million miles per hour as he stared at Kissy Missy.
You watched your large pink furred friend clap her hands in glee as she approached the large canid and rubbed his face and belly. Practically praising him for holding on for so long.
“I didn’t know you liked tug of war, sweetheart.” You commented, watching as DogDay turned to face you.
“It’s fun!!” He panted out, clearly tired out from all the energy he had spent.

Chapter 4:
And learn she did, though it was difficult at first for her to understand the keys, she soon began to get a hang of it and once she’d gotten a firm grasp on how to play the child sized wooden piano, she would grace your ears with songs all too familiar from your childhood.
“🎼♩♪ ♩ ♩ ♩ ♩ ♭ ♩ ♩ ♭ ♩ ♩ ♭…”
It would seem that this time it was “London Bridge is Falling Down” to shine in the spotlight.
You sat comfortably some ways away from Poppy on the couch reading a book with DogDay’s head resting on your lap, currently he was knocked out, resting after a long day.
Kissy Missy sat across from you on the floor, currently solving one of your one hundred puzzle piece puzzles, she had gotten about halfway with it.
The more that Poppy played, the more you felt DogDay stir beneath you, thinking it was a nightmare you pet him, massaging his scalp with the pads of your fingers. Silently hoping that the gesture was enough to calm him.
When out of the blue, a low sound that steadily rose in pitch emitted from DogDay.
“{OoOoOooOooOooOooo!}”
A howl! It was a howl! He was howling!
Surprised by the sudden revelation, you checked to see if he was sleeping but was greeted by a lazy smile.
You chuckled as you kissed the top of his head and listened as he continued on with his howling.
“Are you singing along to Poppy’s playing?”
The thumping of his tail wag made your answer clear.
Poppy on the other hand didn’t seem to mind as you watched her play with more vigor, her graceful porcelain hands glided across the miniature piano with the same expertise as someone who’d been playing for their whole life.
You watched as Kissy Missy momentarily stopped what she was doing to sit back and listen on, her head softly bobbing to the tune.

Chapter 5: Flicking Ears
So, while Poppy and Kissy Missy had a ‘girls night in’ in their respective shared bedroom with snacks and movies, you spent your evening with DogDay in the living room. The plan has been to watch whatever show or movie the other hadn’t seen when suddenly the power had cut off.
You sat in the dark staring at your cellphone’s screen, unbeknownst to him, you were typing away at one of your forgotten fictional works. Surely you could get something done until the light came back on?
DogDay on the other hand was sat by your feet, eyes glued onto the window outside as he watched the rain pour down heavily. The sounds of distant thunder tearing the sky asunder as flashes of light would occasionally appear.
When suddenly, DogDay’s headshot up, surprised by the act you watched him carefully.
His ears twitched on either side of his head, flicking to and fro, it looked like he was trying to listen for something.
“Whatcha hearing, pup?” You called out
“Shhh…” he silenced, you watched as his expression changed to one of pure concentration.
Intrigued, you put down your cell phone and continued to watch him follow the inaudible sound that only he could hear. Ears twitching as his head tilted, he was trying to locate its source.
When suddenly, it looks like he nearly jumps out of his skin as he turns to face you.
You stare at him with a bewildered look.
“Wh-?”
“Him!” Was all he offered, DogDay climbed on top of you, his eyes laser focused on what was behind you.
You turned to see what it could be and saw nothing more than your fireplace mantle and the two large urns that held your parents' ashen remains, as well as their pictures on either side.
“Dad?” You asked, turning back to DogDay, “Was it dad?”
You watch him nod, “He was saying something… I couldn’t catch just what it was but I saw him when I turned around.”
“Is he there now?” You ask, curious.
DogDay seems to hesitate for a moment, his eyes flicking to something before meeting yours once more.
He nods.
You sigh and turn around, “Dad, leave him be, he’s being good!” You muse, reprimanding the empty air.
When you turn back around to face DogDay you give him a pet on the head, “My dad was always the joker of the family- as my mom used to say- he was probably just messing with you.” You inform him, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure he doesn’t misbehave.” You jest, glaring back at the urn before laughing at the whole situation.
You watch as DogDay nods, nuzzling into your touch before glancing back up at the mantle, he catches a brief glimpse of the same man from the picture giving him a wink before waving goodbye, the figure dematerializing into thin air.
