none of you guys know shake at all and it shows. you can't claim to be his #1 fan and then say that he's pure evil

the main argument i see is that "shake doesn't care about anyone" yes he fucking does!! there are so many examples where he worries about his brothers, carl, or someone else. he showed concern about meatwad when he admitted getting SA'd at the mall and also became stressed when he remembered meatwad was at the carwash with the fire-infected water. he consoled carl when he heard him crying. he desperately wants frylock's (and carl's) validation in multiple episodes and gets upset or even quiet when he doesn't recieve it. he went along with the mooninites' stupid plans because he just wanted to hang out with them.. and there's so much more i didn't mention. he's a huge people pleaser and he wants to be loved so badly. it's just hard to see that he cares because he doesn't show it in the traditional way.

yes he's an asshole and often does things for his own gain— but he is not "pure evil" and i will absolutely destroy you if you say he is. this is such a perfect example of people villainizing those that are mentally ill. they exhibit traits that are a bit untasteful and Boom. they're the equivalent to satan apparently. he has a lot to improve on, yes, but i know that he'd be able to if he was given the support he needs. it was proven in the episode where he was going to therapy.. he WAS improving, it just got screwed up by the creditor. i know that shake's problems are played off for laughs and aren't meant to be taken seriously but most people criticizing him are Taking Him Seriously. so i can too. i HAVE to defend my boyfriend 🖕
