Actually Captain Jack Harkness is SO important. During a time when we couldn't get a single queer on screen in most shows and even those few we did get ended up dead 90% of the time, he was not only openly bisexual, he was openly bisexual and LITERALLY unable to die.
Saw a post like this with negative outlook so I asked for it to be fixed

Yo I feel like the idea that the only historical women who counted are the ones who defied society and took on the traditionally male roles is… not actually that feminist. It IS important that women throughout history were warriors and strategists and politicians and businesswomen, but so many of us were “lowly” weavers and bakers and wives and mothers and I feel like dismissing THOSE roles dismisses so many of our mothers and grandmothers and great-grandmothers and the shit they did to support our civilization with so little thanks or recognition.
After seeing Steve in action around the kids Eddie starts calling Steve “mom Steve” in his head. It slips out one night when the older kids are hanging out, but thankfully only Robin hears. She ends up shooting soda out of her nose from laughing.
They end up teaming up to get Steve a mug that says “MILF” for his birthday after that.
Worst thing ever in the whole world is when a thunderstorm is forecasted and then it doesn’t storm. literally so rude I was excited for this all day.

So I fully feel like Chords by The Amazing Devil and Matilda by Harry Styles are two sides of the same coin.
Chords is the parents who cry when they drop you off at uni
Matilda is the parents who don’t really notice that you’re gone
Maybe I’m interpreting Chords wrong, or projecting, but it always felt like the aftermath of a kid going to uni
@mantorokk we do, he deserves the best and the best is safety
This tweet lives rent-free in my head now. Hands-down the best comment about the relationship between art and artist.
