How OLD are the Metal Cardbots?

Like, this question has been messing with my brain for hours.

I think there is no confirmation of how much their human age would be, only that they are thousands of years older than any human because they are alien robots.

But I have some headcanons ☆

IDEA FOR A METAL CARDBOTS HORROR AU!

In this universe, the Metal Cardbots had to leave their planet due to a strange virus. At first, few people were affected and the effects were not so serious, but over time the virus corrupted the Cardbots and even Machina itself.

They had to escape to avoid getting infected and see if they could find a cure.

Unfortunately some Cardbots that escaped were contaminated with the virus

What is the virus like?

It would be like a virus that is capable of corrupting beings made of metal, generating masses of flesh that consume the metal of the cardbot's body, it starts from the inside, it is as if it were a mold of flesh, it begins little by little, consuming the circuits and gears, causing problems and pain. unbearable, it will consume the metal until it turns into a thin layer that in the end will generate openings where the flesh will continue to grow until it comes out.

It continues to spread throughout the body from the inside to the head, starting as stabs of pain, then migraines, problems resting or thinking correctly, changes in behavior, increasingly aggressive to the point of attacking whoever it sees, regardless of whether it is organic or inorganic

Something important to note is the fact that his face was broken so deeply to the point that it looked like a mouth and teeth-like structures began to emerge.

Cardbots will no longer be able to transform when they are affected, at first the transformation will cost a lot and will become more painful to the point where it can no longer be performed.

The flesh grows more the more of the Cardbot's body it consumes, the process is slow and unstoppable, it will continue to consume until there is no more metal left and it is just a mass of unrecognizable flesh, all this while the Cardbot is still alive and conscious, even when it is no longer alive. You have control over your body, there will still be a small part of your living consciousness that still feels and remembers.

When the affected cardbot reaches an advanced stage where the virus has taken enough control of the body, it will feel the need to consume other living beings.

Blue Cop [Not infected]: Feels a lot of guilt for not being able to protect the Metal Cardbot and the planet Machina, the personality is similar to that of the original universe

Jun: It's almost the same as in the original universe, his relationship with Blue Cop is very close.

Mega Trucker [infected]: When he arrived on Earth he was already infected and his behavior was very aggressive

Mega Ambler [Not infected]: Despite not being infected, his mental state is not in the best way, but in any way similar to the original universe, he is still friends with Theo.

He was a close friend with Phoenix Fire

Phoenix Fire [Infected]: He was also infected when he arrived on Earth, but something interesting is that when his ship caught fire, part of his body melted.

Shadow X [Not infected]: He is the one with the most different personality unlike the original universe, he has a more anxious and paranoid personality.

Heavy Iron [Not infected]: He is still the strongest cardbot and will use the star crown to build another Machina

Wild Guardy [Not infected]: He still wants to be the king of all cardbots, has resentment towards Blue Cop

Black Hook [Not infected]: Wants to get the Metal Breath in the hope of stopping the infection

Buffalo Crush [infected]: at first when he arrived there didn't seem to be anything wrong with him, but then they realized that he was infected, even though he is not yet in an advanced state of infection he no longer seems to be the same

Buster Gallon [not infected]: Almost like the universe, he wants to find a cure at any cost.

Dexter [infected]: He is in a fairly advanced stage of infection.

Fleta Z [not infected]: Seeing that there were still uninfected cardbots, he went to look for them, although he is still afraid of those that are infected.

This is just an idea for a universe that occurred to me after a dream I had. I would like to expand and improve some aspects of the universe, this is just an idea

Mega Ambler walked cautiously down the hallway looking from one side to the other making sure that no one would come out of nowhere, the lights barely gave off a pittance of light so he had to basically walk in the dark, he also smelled a disgusting smell, He didn't know how to describe it, it was a nauseating and horrible smell so he had to turn off his olfactory sensors.

He thought he heard something but when he stopped and looked around he didn't see anything, he shook his head, it must have just been his head.

he had to get to the exit quickly, but at the same time quietly, unfortunately both things are difficult to do when you are carrying your friend's body on your back.

"Ambler…" Phoenix Fire spoke, his voice sounded tired, he had been this way for a while, the color of his body had faded and his eyes had lightened until they were almost white.

"Silence, they could hear us" he silence him

Mega Ambler knew that it would be best not to draw their attention, he knew that there was no way he could defend himself, there were too many of them and he didn't know exactly how strong they would be now and he didn't want to be here to find out.

They were almost there, just a little more and he and Phoenix Fire would finally get out of here.

Then he heard a sound, it was like someone was trying to speak but without success, it was quiet but it felt like someone had yelled at him. He looked back at the hallway and with the little light he could see a shadow approaching, it was big.

and it was getting closer

He ran as best he could almost stumbling either from Phoenix Fire or from panic he tried to go as fast as he could, he could hear it getting closer and closer, he seemed to be letting out screams or at least they seemed to be. He didn't want to see it, but he knew it was close and it was getting closer.

When he finally got there, he couldn't open it, it was like his hands didn't respond and he could hear it closer. He tried but his hands didn't listen He was already desperate

"Please open, please open please open." He repeated quickly, desperate to escape from here with Phoenix Fire, he didn't want to be here anymore and he didn't want to be here with that thing.

That thing was running, he could hear bangs, like it was hitting the walls as it ran its steps closer.

He could also hear its attempts at shouting he couldn't tell if it was really shouting something or just meaningless shouting.

When the door finally opened, he didn't think twice and ran out with Phoenix Fire on his back, he didn't look back.

He wouldn't look back, he didn't care where he went, he just wanted to make sure they were both safe.

Metal Cardbot English Dub is on Youtube!

The english dub, originally available on mewatch, is now releasing one episode at a time on the original korean youtube channel!

It may start to automatically default to this setting, but if it is still in korean, go to the audio track setting and select english, if you want to:

Usually, SAMG would create seperate youtube channels for each language. But it looks like MCB's english version will be sharing a channel with the original. Again, only episode 1 is available right now, but I think we can assume one episode will release each week.

English subtitles + original audio:

As for the subtitles, since the original youtube channel is used, you may start to find it defaulting to english audio over there too. A fix is being looked into for this, but in the meantime if you continue to prefer the original language with english subtitles, make sure to change the audio track back!
