Confession of a grieving Palestinian, forever away from home.
(For the record, hopelessness does not mean giving up. When you feel like you can do so little, just do what you can. Donate. Protest. Scream the truth.)
Where do I even begin? I'm appalled. The Canadian government living up to its roots in colonial-settler violence... this is beyond criminal. Contact your MP's. This erasure and anti-Palestinian racism is unacceptable.
(On a side note would any of y’all be interested in a saw art trade?)
Hello dear
We are from Gaza. Palestine, Please I beg you to help me by donate anything for my son named (Ibrahim) 10 months, I swear since 4 days no baby formula, I need to buy milk, diapers and food for him, and the most important is warm clothes, the weather so cold now, he suffering from malnutrition, donate anything for him please. I'm really shy and embarrassing to ask you that but I don't have another way to help my baby 👶. Even just 5 or 10$.
Verified by Gazavetters: #137 and 90-ghost.
I unfortunately cannot donate right now but maybe someone who sees this will.
The thing I don't understand is when I say free Palestine, so many people think that means I hate the Israeli people. That I don't care if they die.
I care about the Israeli people.
I care about the Israeli hostages that were shot down by their own military.
I care about all Israeli hostages in general.
I care about the Israeli men being thrown in jail because they refuse to assist in the "war" around them.
I care about the Israeli people who don't support the genocide happening infront of their very eyes.
Even the Israeli people who do, I don't wish death upon them, or whatever hateful thing you think I do.
When I say free Palestine, I don't mean I hate the Israeli people.
When I say free Palestine, I mean Free Palestine
Senate trying to pass a bill that would force you to use your government id just to use the internet. That means no anonymity at all, ever, and that every pro-Palestinian organizer is immediately a target that the government can track. And they will use it explicitly to come after protestors and organizers.
Israel's lawyer: "Claiming that the violence against Gaza is 'unprecedented' is as if they've no knowledge of recent wars"
You...you're trying to say that because people died in previous wars, it's ok for you to kill tens of thousands of civilians ? Because the world was cruel before it's ok to be even more cruel ?
