I've been really sad these past few weeks, I didn't feel like drawing much, but recently I found some new songs I really liked, and inspired me to draw this.
I've always really liked cold landscapes, places that seem forgotten, ruins reclaimed by nature, or places far from civilization.
Maybe I'll do a series of drawings with this theme, a good excuse to try to draw more landscapes and draw more the human version of my fursona.
yay
I feel sorry for people named Al (A L) because I see the name and briefly feel annoyance until I'm like, oh, that doesn't say AI
It's 3 in the morning and I finally finished this thing, I was hoping to finish it faster, but this week I've been with some friends so I haven't drawn as much as before xb
I did this to have a better idea on how to shade and where when the light is hitting the front, in profile. I get an idea of where the more general shadows are, but it was also to know how many tones to use and how, which is the most complicated part.
This is a character that belongs to someone in Amino, his name is Copito. I'm trying to improve my realistic portraits with OCs, so I borrowed some characters from Amino. I decided to start with this character because I wanted to see if my shading has improve in albino characters. I think it could improve my contrast but at the same time I think I exaggerate with the darkness of the shadow XD anyway I hope it looks good, I wanted to practice this for a long time, but I have had many things on me so just now I started to do it. Any kind of feedback is always welcome :d
*spoliers!*

A cat drawing : D
Hey, after finishing Small's portrait, I decided to do a little face painting practice, to improve my proportions, and better understand how to paint and shade the face. After seeing several references and inspirations, I realized that there are parts where you will always see shadow and help to give volume, like around the eyes, under the lips, the nose, and some shadows on the forehead, I know it looks obvious, but from someone who draws humans once a year it's pretty new I also tried to paint different skin tones, I've heard that painting dark skin is the hardest, so I wanted to try that it, I saw a video that used red and purple as shading, I rather tried to use orange, red and green, I think It looks good, but tell me what you think Rendering the light skin was easier as I have more practice with it, except for the albino girl, it was a bit tricky as I really couldn't really make out the shadows well when painting ^^" it was quite interesting to see different tones of skin, and see what technique and color was better to shade Also, sorry if the lips and noses look weird, it's very difficult, it's too different from painting lips and noses of animals, their shape and shading are hard to paint (T-T) Any kind of critique and feedback is welcome ^^
A YCH I did for someone in DA of her character Daylight.
I've seen a lot of Death fanart and I wanted to make one too, but I did it in a hurry because I have homework to do (which I'm too lazy to do :b) I really liked the last scene of Gato vs Death fighting, but really all the scenes where this character appears are sensational. Well, I did the best I could, but I also tried to keep it simple, and in the end I kept changing my values because I felt that it was too saturated and the contrast of light and shadow was too strong. Hope it looks good not the least ^^"
A quick cat profiling practice I did, I used the same method of splitting my reference into straight lines, it makes understanding proportions much easier .3. except for the first cat, I used a vanishing point since it's in perspective.
