What exactly does he mean by “it’s never gonna happen” because I’m pretty sure ‘it’ is already happening
thinking about mac getting up every morning to peel an apple for dennis and dennis waking up to the familiar sound of mac bustling around in the kitchen every day without fail; mac, brushing his teeth, having to stand on his tip-toes because dennis is standing in front of him peering at the mirror as he applies his mascara; their shoes and jackets by the door, their keys hung up side-by-side and sometimes mac grabs both of them to toss dennis his as they leave the apartment. thinking about their apartment, their kitchen, their bathroom, their movie nights, their monthly dinners, and the small bits of domesticity that exist in their life together even if they refuse to acknowledge it.
oh.. 😐 wha happen?
put dennis renyold in jail jar like Cokroach .?
yeah <3 there’s no air holes he cannot breathe
Downloading MacDennis edits to my computer before TikTok gets banned like I’m saving my newborn from a burning building
I'm so ill dude everything mac does is to get positive attention and validation... working out, doing cool stunts, insisting to people that he can do cool stuff that he definitely cannot actually pull off, directly trying to get his parents and his friends to say that they like him.... I'm SICK dude he's literally just a little neglected puppy of a man
so much to say about this scene but the thing that pushes me over the edge every time is the little looks they give each other..
🤨 dennis why is your (apparently established and not made up just for this) system for pulling men designed with the goal of a second date/potential relationship. nothing you'd like to share there huh
it is so sickening to think about mac's desperation to be loved and how the neediness that radiates from him is ultimately what inhibits him from forming healthy relationships.. the gang is so tired of him constantly questioning his self-worth ("you guys like me, right?") that they've given up on giving him any attention whatsoever ("it's really a cry for [...] attention, [...] ignore those" / "treat it like a baby / "we don't like you either way"). he needs validation but seeks it in a manner that is so off-putting that nobody wants him around. he writers letters to chase utley. he visits his mom and dad, even though they never want to see him. he threatens suicide as a cry for help and is encouraged to follow through. self-worth is in the body, so why doesn't anyone care that he's been working out? he smothers his dog with affection but can't even get it to stay.
whenever i walk past someone smoking a cigarette i breathe really deeply to try and get as much second-hand smoke as i can
