You looked through application after application, but nothing seemed to catch your eye. So instead of finding a job, why not make your own? Be your own boss, work on your own time, and you knew just the way to do it!

You plastered every wall of your neighborhood with posters promoting your new tutoring service. It was a genius idea, and you got quite the response! Parents all around were looking for a way to get their kids ready for the following school year, and you were just their girl. After setting up a schedule with a handful of clients, you began your summer duty, tutoring student after student. Maybe you should change your major to teaching at this point; you were great at it!

Teaching them the wrong thing, that is.

The following school year came, and all your clients were failing horribly. It never occurred to you that someone who graduated with a 1.7 GPA shouldn’t teach others.

You might’ve spent your summer balling in cash, but now you're balling in tears over your failed business idea.
