Not to alarm anyone but Noah liked a Byler video about hosegate (iykyk)
I don't believe in it but the fact that in the script it says that Mike was supposed to do all the work with the hose and everything but then in the show they decided to add Will is.. interesting, I think they were just showing that the attraction is mutual in an innocent way
BYLER IS SO ENDGAME OMG I SEE THE YEARNING IN YOUR EYES MIKE WHEELER IK WHAT YOU ARE!!!
Here's the thing. Will took himself out of the running. It was a love triangle by simple "two options to the audience" standards and he took himself out of the running for Mike. So either it was pointless for him to ever even be there OR Mike has to himself put him back in the running
Which do you think is more likely
Every non-Byler pitch for resolving Will's feelings in season 5 is highly dependent on him still having desire to pursue Mike in any way. There was a major scene about how he is definitely not going to do that. But we both know the plot still needs to be resolved. And we both know there's only one other person that can do that. And we both know there's only one reason for them to initiate that conversation.
I feel you need to read hawkins-batman pinned post here on tumblr because you do not seem to be fully up to date with the Noah situation. That or you're are trying to frame yourself as "in the middle" to avoid conflict and criticism.
Hi! I have read that post (its actually what made me aware of this controversy in the first place). I understand that he is a human being that doesn't deserve death threats and harassment. I also understand that A LOT of people have taken their hate campaign too far. BUT I will NEVER defend someone who supports Zionism on that opinion. What I will defend are random people online who don't asked to be insulted just because they support and are excited about a ship in fandom.
I will also try to be real with people that this behavior? It isn't helping anyone, it makes Israel defenders double down, and those who are anti-palestine have reasons to defame those trying to actually make a difference. NOT SAYING WE SHOULDN'T CALL PEOPLE OUT, BUT HAVE CONSTRUCTIVE CONVERSATIONS INSTEAD! INSULTING PEOPLE ISN'T HELPING?!
the TENSION in this screen shot is insane. I need one of those pointer things with the gloves you would get at scholastic book fairs for this unbelievable crashout. I'm actually going crazy
UR NEW FIC IS SO GOOD AAHHH everyone should read it xxx
so true darling so true <3
you know What. i've been trying to understand the manifestation theory recently and i just realized
you know how mike is sitting all alone at the snowball after watching all his friends leave to dance with someone? how he is staring into oblivion, not actively looking for el or anybody, just sitting and contemplating? possibly contemplating all his friends possibly growing up and finding someone, feeling behind and scared. and then suddenly - oh.
el shows up just in time, pulling him right out of that. he suddenly has the perfect confidence to ask her to dance and even kiss her as if he didn't spend the last season awkward as hell with her. as if he wasn't awkward as hell when she leaned into him for a kiss earlier that same episode. like ok yeah that makes sense for sure dude.
but the fact he isn't even trying to look for her. the fact he isn't wondering where she is. she's clearly not on his radar at all. but regardless, she just.. walks in that exact moment, catching him off guard and essentially saving him from those uncomfortable emotions. might i add we don't even see her in the montage of the kids getting ready for the dance. we don't get a scene of her and hopper. while you can argue it's implied... why not give them a scene or anything at all?? not even a word about her to joyce. i mean, i believe it did in fact happen, but it's another clear disconnect between el and the rest of the characters.
it's just all so weird, not even mentioning the fact every breath you take plays exactly when we see mike sitting down by himself. there is something off here.. and then of course they had to frame it EXACTLY like THIS scene.
okay.
once again i am asking you if you would like to a read a fic based on its concept:
basically mike has already confessed to will which saved him from vecna, but will was too unconscious/injured to even respond. will wakes up next to mike the morning after.
mike's super worried that will listened and doesn't feel the same (despite it literally saving him but he's a little hopeless)
reply or reblog if you want me to tag you when i post it! (might be a while bc im prioritising my university work but its a shorter fic than my usual ones)
