while looking references for penny I fell in the neverending hole of animal crossing creepypasta haha

there are a lot of “king“ pokemons, but only one queen

the sandy boys... I tried really hard to replicate the texture of sandshrew I hope I did ok

Ribbot is so iconic, I wish there were more robot villagers, also Madam Rosa was so cool, I hope she gets revived in acnh

I used to hate pikachu when I was a kid just because he was the main pokemon, but my opinion now is, chunky pikachu  was a blessing and I was just too dumb to appreciate him, I've always loved raichu though, he’s the a better pikachu in my eyes

I used to love ekans and arbok because they were jessy’s pokemon and of course I had a crush on team rocket

not much to say here, I’m pretty happy with Amelia, Mac and Tybalt, but probably Ohare is getting a makeover once I finish uploading all the villagers

one of my main goals when I started this project was to maintain a believable scale between the pokemons, so I started sketching them all and then deciding around what size I think they should be, I didn’t guide myself with their canon sizes because I felt like some of them would not fit my headcanons and that’s what’s truly important to me, anyways, because of this scale, spearow ended up being super tiny

My sister used to have pet rats, so when pokemon go came out a lot of her friends would name they rattatas or raticates either her name or the name of her pets and I think that’s just so sweet, I wish someone named their pokemon in my honor

I really like Rod, I think I have a thing for sporty villagers designs, or is it mouse villagers? or villagers with the round eyes? anyways...

I’m not a huge fan of this pokemon’s design as in, they look just like regular birds, but with longer hair, I did however have one in my team the first time I played because I wanted my team to be just like Ash’s, little did I know that he never won against the elite four

can’t really say I liked these guys when I played it for the first time, I was terrified of getting poisoned, but I did appreciate a little worm in a party hat

Idk why I’ve always overlooked Bam? maybe because I have other sporty villagers that I like more? it is a mystery

I remember loving this line so much because they evolve super fast and then buterfree is pretty strong in comparison to the other pokemon that you encounter in the early game, it also gives you a little taste of psychic pokemon early on...

Ahh... Squirtle was actually my first starter pokemon the first time I played Pokemon red, his sprite was so endearing that I chose him over Charmander... Also I had looked up Wartortle and I thought it was so cute with the little cheeks and swirly tail, I was a bit disappointed on its sprite though...

 Alright, the fourth compilation, and only a couple of years later, I have beefed up a queue and will have new animal crossing pixels up at least twice a week now, hope you guys like it.

I made this a long time ago, so seeing it again is kinda nice bc i can see how much I’ve improved, I’m already planning on which pixels I will revamp after I finish uploading all of them (yes, they’re all done, just need to queue) and Boots is definitely one of them, but I’m very proud of Timmy and Tommy though

Alright, moving on to the fire starter, Charmander was my favorite in the anime, with his little backstory of being abandoned and all, also, I remember very vividly how all of my school friends would try to mimic their cries and Charmeleon was the funniest thing

So a while ago I started pixeling pokemon, I will be queue a new pokemon pixel art every tuesday, wednesday and saturday (or else I will be uploading first gen all year)

I like to think these are the pokemon to be drawn by the most people (maybe only behind pikachu), on the account that a lot of people start drawing all pokemon in order and drop out sometime, but they’re cute boys, and deserve it honestly

So... idk if I still have anyone following but, here’s some animal crossers, I will queue the rest of the villagers in this format for now, the individual sprites are under the cut

more practice... i tried using sai but I quickly abused the watercolor... I definitely need to tone it down

and also a study I did on darker skin bc I realize I need to improve that... tips and critiques are very welcomed... this is my oc, she’s a moth

Imho this song is not very memorable, but it introduced the near future technopop unit concept that they started getting popular with and for that I’m grateful... Also Nocchi’s hair is perfect... Yuka’s hair though :0
