"i'll find you in every universe"
my marauders dr.
mango colt looks like she knows something that you don’t: which probably is true because she can see the future. she was always seen in her hometown as the ‘weird’ one . . . . not in a negative sense, but she had just certain tastes who were quite uncommon. her trinkets mean everything to her !! weird laps, dolls, mugs, pillows, rings, snow globes, clocks. everything in her room seems to have a piece of her soul (in a good way…) and she also reads a lot of books, muggle and wizardry. her personal favourites are frankenstein and the arthurian legends. she also writes a lot in her journals; now fourteen, she started writing something in her diaries everyday, she has now over 20 of them. she always carries her current one in her bag.
next destination : hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. with her childhood bestfriends !
shifting is not hard. you're making it seem that way.
i used to struggle with this so much. like, i knew the law of assumption. i knew that shifting and manifesting were the same thing. i knew that reality is just my assumptions reflected back to me.
but for some reason, every time i tried to just decide i was in my DR, it felt... different.
i could easily say, "i have blue eyes," and it felt normal, even if my eyes were brown. but the second i tried to say, "i'm in my DR," my brain would go: "hmm... but are you really?" and suddenly, i'd be analyzing everything, waiting for proof, wondering if i was doing it right.
and that's where i messed up.
i thought shifting was bigger than other manifestations. i thought it was different. but the truth? there is no such thing as a "big" or "small" manifestation. that's literally just a label. it's an assumption.
if i assume it's "harder" to shift than to change my eye color, then guess what? that assumption becomes my reality. but if i assume they're both the same, just decisions, then shifting becomes just as easy as saying, "i have blue eyes."
the second i decided i was in my DR, i'd immediately start checking, even subconsciously.
do i feel different?
did something change?
am i there yet?
and by doing that, i was literally affirming that i wasn't there. because if i truly believed i was in my DR, why would i be checking?
like, when i wake up in the morning, i don't sit there and check if i'm still in my reality. i don't look around thinking, "is this my bed? is this my house?" i just assume it is. and because i assume it, that's what i experience.
that's exactly how shifting works.
at some point, i realized i was overcomplicating everything. i was acting like shifting was some grand process, when in reality, it's literally just deciding. and once i decide, that's it. i don't need to do anything else.
when i say, "i have blue eyes," i don't sit there waiting for them to change. it just accept it as true.
when i say, "i am already in my DR," i should do the exact same thing. just accept it and move on.
no forcing. no waiting. no "trying." just knowing.
shifting is not this rare, complicated thing.
it's not "bigger" than any other manifestation. it's not something you have to work toward. it's just a decision. and the only reason it feels different is because you assume it is.
so i stopped treating it like a big deal. i stopped looking for proof. i stopped acting like it was something separate from normal manifesting. and the moment i did that? everything clicked.
stop checking if it's working.
stop waiting for proof and validation.
stop placing shifting on a pedestal.
just decide. accept. move on.
you're already there. that's it. no doubts, no second-guessing. just be.

just posted something about this dr 😌
thinking about my other hogwarts dr (i have a lot of them. 🙂↕️) where i will spend the majority of my time in hogwarts and my 20s researching and experimenting different ways of time travel, simply to satiate my curiosities. i will be a historian for my own sake and i will not publish any of my findings (i probably would be put into azkaban, as time travel is against the law).
i want to be the person that figures out how to time travel with no additional accessories (e.g. a time turner). i want to know how the ancient egyptians/greeks/romans/chinese/turks did their magic. how did it tie into their religious beliefs? was there a muggle/witch separation (i assume the statue of secrecy is only for the UK)? what was the norm, did they categorize kinds of magic (light/dark etc.)? what was disallowed (like how blood magic is taboo in europe’s wizarding world)? did they strictly use wandless magic? did they have other means of channeling magic (artwork, dancing, singing, music, poetry/literature, etc.)? did they cast spells or was it less structured? did they have incantations or was it pure feeling?
i could script all of this just to have an idea, but i really want to just learn for myself idk. like there is learning from secondary sources and there is being the primary source yourself. idk the idea of being a time traveling witch . its so cool. I’M so cool. Wow
