I saw a film or heard a story lately can't remember though- but it was about a child that child was about 6-9 years old but was a genius strategist for every war they made a strategy in was always won because of how smart they are and so they were used because of it- by their emperor/lord but they were attached to him thinking that the way they were treated (physically and mentally abused) was love so how would the iksen characters think of this traumatized but genius child

Oda forces.

Nobunaga Oda.

Just because it’s a child doesn’t mean he cannot recognize talent, Nobunaga would bring the child under his care to war council and, maybe, even war.

Nobunaga would provide care and safety for the child, while he wasn’t the best at affection and healing since he also suffered a lot as a child, he would try his best for this child.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Hideyoshi would try objecting to the child attending war councils, not that he would ever go against his lord’s decision, but to hideyoshi this child is still too young to participate in these matters, even if they are a genius.

He would be exactly like a mother father to them, while also feeling deeply sad about all the abuse the kid suffered.

Masamune Date.

Masamune is like that cool uncle that tries to take the child out to have fun, forget all about the pain, focus on the fun. He feels sympathy for this little genius and decides to be by their side, the same way he would have wanted someone by his side when he was a child.

It’s not that he doesn’t recognize this child as a genius, but he thinks that they should enjoy their childhood more.

Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Ieyasu worries about them, but he never really shows it in an obvious manner. He gives the child treatment over past scars and tips on how to defend themselves, under the premise of “don’t be useless” when really, what he means to say is “be more careful”.

Doesn’t matter if the kid is a genius, they can’t be reckless over their safety.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

Mitsuhide likes testing how intelligent this child is, wanting to see how far their education goes. He decides to take part in the child’s education since he sees great potential in there.

Also, he likes teasing them since they children tend to be more naive, all in an brotherly affectionate way, not in a cruel way.

Mitsunari Ishida.

As a fellow strategist and genius himself, Mitsunari is like a safe port for the child, both understanding each other in many aspects. Differently from Mitsuhide, mitsunari would become a trusty elder who the child would seek guidance to and opinions. Perhaps because both would have a sense of kinship to each other.

Ranmaru Mori.

Ranmaru is softhearted, and also knows the pain this child has gone through, he would try to be like his master and try helping the child grown up healthily and happy, to leave behind all the pain from the past.

Keiji.

Keiji tries using his cheerful persona more often to keep this child happy and entertained, he would need to be more careful since this kid is very intelligent and would be able to figure it out eventually about his true personality. He feels sorry that this child’s talents were constantly exploited and would rather they don’t take part much in war councils.

Uesugi-Takeda alliance.

Kenshin Uesugi.

Kenshin would first consider if this kid being a strategist genius meant they could fight him, but was immediately stopped since this is still a child nonetheless. While he can sympathize with this child’s traumatic past, he also believes they need to become stronger so that no one else was able to abuse them ever again, so he takes part in their training personally.

Shingen takeda.

Ah, another fellow strategist? Shingen would be very happy to take this child in as his own, deciding to raise them just like he has raised Yukimura. Giving the child classes of his own when it comes to war and strategy, while also giving them sweets and spoiling them rot.

Knowing how much this child suffered, he would rather they don’t participate in war councils until they become a teenager.

Yukimura Sanada.

Yukimura would take this child as a young sibling, being the best big brother there is. Sure, the kid might be a genius, but they should enjoy their childhood as much as possible. He often takes the kid out with him to town and on missions, teaching them things at first hand.

Yoshimoto Imagawa.

Yoshimoto would rather teach this child the ways of art and beauty, rather than let them focus on war and battles. They had already enough of these brutalities in their childhood, they should focus on relaxing and enjoying their youth.

Sasuke.

Being from the future, Sasuke knows that childhood in this era was never easy, and seeing how this was a gifted child that was taken advantage of for their intelligence, he decides to help them by being their friend, showing them that it’s ok to let their guard down and be a normal child for once.

Kanetsugu.

Kanetsugu may be stern and a bit frightening, but he doesn’t think this child should immediately take place in a war council. He agrees, however, to molding this child into someone who can aid kenshin in the future, so he becomes a teacher to them as well. He tries to not be too strict as to not scare this child.

The ball in the Briar Valley castle was eagerly awaited. The hall was draped in luxurious dark green and purple fabrics, candles softly illuminated the walls, and music flowed quietly through the spacious room. But even the festive atmosphere couldn't hide the tension hanging in the air.

Today was no ordinary ball. King Malleus Draconia was presenting his heir to the world – his firstborn, a child from a union with a woman of human descent.

You stood beside your husband, holding the little prince in your arms. He was still a tiny thing, but already showed signs of Draconia heritage: horns, a tail, and magic perceptible even to weak beings.

Malleus held himself proudly, his green eyes exuding calm, but behind it lurked a storm ready to break. He knew the Senate – three old fae, devoted to tradition – were against his choice. They had hoped he would reconsider and marry one of their kind. But the birth of his firstborn shattered their last hopes.

When the moment came to present the heir, Malleus stepped forward, and you followed, holding the child. You felt the gazes – some warm and welcoming, others full of contempt.

And then, one of the senators spoke:

"Your Majesty…" his voice was restrained, but laced with condemnation. "We expected a worthy heir. And you bring a stain upon the Draconia bloodline."

The hall fell silent.

"A mixture of human blood with royal blood is a disgrace!" the only woman in the Senate chimed in, crossing her arms. "The child cannot be a true ruler; the blood of the weak flows within him!"

"Briar Valley has been ruled by pureblooded fae for centuries; your action threatens the very essence of our power!" added the third.

Your heart clenched. Your arms tightened around the child, shielding him from those gazes, from those words. But before you could respond, a thunderous roar echoed through the air.

The hall plunged into shadow.

Everyone turned to the king.

Malleus didn't move, but his eyes flared with emerald flames. The magic around him thickened, the air grew heavy, and dark clouds swirled outside the windows. Lightning flashed within them, illuminating the guests' frightened faces.

"You dare…" his voice was low, but furious, "dare to insult my queen… and my son."

The senators shrank under his gaze, but didn't back down.

"We speak the truth," the eldest said coldly. "This child…"

"This child is my heir."

Malleus's voice shook the castle walls. Green sparks flared behind him, and shadows crept across the floor, approaching the senators.

"By right of blood, he is my firstborn, a child of the Draconia line, and no one, no one," his voice grew ominous, filled with ancient power, "dares to dispute that."

He stepped forward, and one of the senators recoiled, realizing they had gone too far.

"You have forgotten yourselves," Malleus said softly, but the echo of his voice resonated through the hall. "I am not just a king. I am a dragon. You wanted to preserve traditions? Very well. I will act as my ancestors did with those who challenged the crown."

His magic surged, and the senators shuddered, bound by an unknown force.

"Exile."

Those words were enough.

"Y-your Majesty…" the woman began, but Malleus didn't even look at her.

"You disputed my word, insulted my family, and challenged my authority. From this day forward, you are no longer part of the Briar Valley Senate."

His voice brooked no argument.

The senators tried to speak, but the dragon's power had already done its work. Darkness enveloped their bodies, and they vanished, banished from the castle.

The hall fell into tense silence. No one dared to utter a word.

You stood beside Malleus, holding your son, and for the first time that evening, felt safe.

Malleus turned to you, his furious gaze softening, and touched your cheek.

"No one will dare to harm you," he said softly, and in those words was all his strength, all his love.

You smiled, and looking at your son, you knew that there was no longer room in this castle for those who did not respect the Draconia family.

As expected, he will throw many questions at you regarding your kind, he will be very curious. Nobunaga might wonder if you could be useful for him to accomplish his goal, though he won’t ask right away.

He won’t be scared to approach you when you are in your dragon form.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

So… he won’t panic, but he will be a bit freaked out. How come such a majestic being like you exist? Even when he first met you, when you were in your human form, something about you didn’t seem normal. You seemed so… heavenly. He will seriously wonder why a dragon would suddenly appear during those chaotic times.

Could it be… were you there to support lord Nobunaga? Of course! He knew it, even the heavens see how great his lord is!

Hideyoshi might be a bit scared to approach your dragon form at first, but will slowly lose his fear.

He will freak out. A lot. Yukimura will get scared and try to run away, you will have to stop him from running and try to calm him down. Might be strongly convinced that you will try to devour him in his sleep.

It will take a while for him to slowly calm down and get used to your dragon form, though he will keep his distance from you for a while out of fear. It will be fun to tease him though, he looks adorable when he gets startled by your dragon form.
