This is the Gabriela Mistral Nebula! ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ
Gabriela Mistral is a Chilean poet who was the first Latin American author to win a Nobel Prize in Literature. This nebula has her name because some believe that it resembles her (I honestly donโt know why ๐). Millions of years ago, a deposit of gas resulted in a surge of star formation that heats up and radiates this region today! โจโจโจ

This is Haleyโs Coronet! ๐๐๐
The interaction between the larger spiral galaxy and its dwarf galaxy have created plumes of dust around the duo. The process of the larger galaxy eating the smaller one is actually called galactic cannibalism (spooky)! ๐ป๐ป๐ป

This is the Statue of Liberty Nebula! ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฝ (I guess to celebrate the inauguration!)
The dramatic shapes of the nebula are created by young, hot stars that were newly formed through this nebula. Most of the star formation takes place in the dark filaments in this region and it is located just a few thousand light years away from the famous Eta Carinae Nebula (also a prolific star forming region)! โจโจโจ

This is the Rosette Nebula! ๐น๐น๐น
This is definitely the best image I have taken of this giant molecular cloud! This nebula is a star forming region with hot, blue newborn stars at its center that is shaping this region to form a beautiful flower-like shape. As seen from Earth, this nebula appears almost 5 times larger than the full Moon! โจโจโจ

Note-taking is one of the most essential skills a student should master. It allows you to record and review information to be used in the future. But whatโs the best way to do so? Hereโs an overview of note-taking styles that can help you maximize your learning!

This is the Tarantula Nebula! ๐๐๐
For some reason, this photo really highlighted the red and blue colors of this nebula - making it look a lot more colorful. This huge star-forming region is located in our satellite galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud, and has hot gas up to a million degrees in temperature that shape this nebula! โจโจโจ

Here is more close-up photo of the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction! ๐ช๐ช๐ช
I was able to take a picture when the 2 planets were at their closest! The small dots around the 2 planets are actually moons of the planets - I canโt believe I was able to photograph them! ๐๐๐
The last viewable conjunction where the planets were this close was in the year 1226! Itโs amazing we were able to see this within our lifetime! ๐๐๐

This is another photo of the Jupiter Saturn Conjunction! ๐ช๐ช๐ช
The two planets are getting closer each day! I love this picture because you can clearly see Jupiterโs 4 largest moons (Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto) and a nice view of Saturn. This event is very rare - Jupiter and Saturn are the closest since the year 1623! โจโจโจ

This is the Christmas Tree Cluster and Cone Nebula! ๐๐๐
Itโs the holiday season! The Christmas Tree Cluster takes up the bulk of this image with its bright, young stars that illuminate the surrounding dust. The Cone Nebula is much smaller and is the protruding cone-shaped item at the mid-bottom leftish of the image with its dark, absorbing gas! โจโจโจ

This is the Eta Carinae Nebula!ย โฅโจ๐ฅ
The Eta Carinae nebula is one of the largest diffuse nebulae in our night sky, being almost 4 times larger than the Orion Nebula. The picture above only is a small part of the Eta Carinae Nebula - this section is called the Keyhole Nebula and it has a lot of dark gas and its shape has changed drastically due to nearby ionizing radiation! ๐โจ๐โจ๐โจ

๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ, 8 ๐๐๐ โข The fact that it's the last monthly spread of this year seems so unreal..I did this constellation kind of theme because outer space have a special place in my heart and this is my birth month so why not! also let's say goodbye to this unfortunate year and wish that the new moon of 2021 will bring new lights!โจ
