what's most harrowing about the alex rider series is that the adults aren't useless, they intentionally endanger a teenager for fun and profit. like, kids series often have adults being useless or incompetent so that kids reading the books can feel empowered, but alex rider does something different and, if you ask me, more interesting: the adults manipulate alex on purpose. the only adults who would help alex are generally either unable to help him or literally out to kill him and everyone around him. alex has very few friends, his age or otherwise, because the adults in his life keep him isolated and helpless. his parents are dead. his uncle is dead. he is alone. and frankly, that's a relatable experience for a lot of kids.

A series of black and white inky fanarts for Omniscient reader's viewpoint, each accompanied by a text.
"Creating for yourself".
Han Sooyoung is towering, holding magic stones in her hand - it's one of her first appearances. Her face is hidden under a shadow, appearing as a mask of comedy.

"Creating for others".
It's Han Sooyoung from 1863rd turn. She is on the roof, in her white coat and white cap. Her face - a mask of tragedy. A single white star is shining down on her.

"Or maybe creating for a single reader".
The words are bleeding ink. They are put down by Han Sooyoung's hand on a parchment, old looking wall in the background hinting at this Han Sooyoung being from Kaizenix. The window in the background shows a single star bleeding into the bottle of ink on Han Sooyoung's table.

"Who may or may not come".
Han Sooyoung's lonely, narrow back is the main focus. She is sitting at her table, half covered by a warm cape, watching the window longingly.

"For both you and him".
A side shot of Kaizenix Han Sooyoung with her head hanging low over her table. Her hair hide her face completely. She is curling onto herself, as if soothing herself. Over her, Kim Dokja is looming, his face similarly hidden by his falling hair. He seems to be watching whatever Han Sooyoung is putting down on the pages. The word "You" overlaps Kim Dokja's head, while "Him" overlaps Han Sooyoung's.

"Each word a waypoint".
Two thin, tall frames.
Left frame is Han Sooyoung in a white coat, reaching over the edge of her frame and into the right frame. She looks incredibly tired and dejected. A waterfall of white pages descends behind her, framing her head.
Right frame is Oldest Dream, young Kim Dokja reading something on his flip phone with a smile. He is contained in his frame save for his falling pages - they sit behind his head and overlap the upper edge, a link to something beyond. A single black star floats above Oldest dream, its ink bleeding into the pages.

"All else is his job".
A borderless black page - a sky full of stars. Five stars with delicate halos are falling. Han Sooyoung's white silhouette is standing over Kim Dokja's sitting one, watching him read a book in his hands.

"What's left is to pray".
A wall of white pages overlapping like papier-mâché, hiding behind them a silhouette of Kim Dokja made out of dotted out text. He is smiling. Han Sooyoung's hands grasp at the pages, peeling them off.

"Your art has any impact at all".
Someone wearing a white coat is on their knees in front of yet another white coat hanging. Black handprints all over the lower half of the coat paint it into a black coat. The person in front of it is clutching at the coat in desperation.

POV, you're Seo Jiwoo's neighbor.

A white haired guy is perched on your neighbor's roof 24/7. Sometimes the good natured kid of the house would leave cookies for him on the doorstep.

A guy with shiny black hair would sometimes dash outside chasing after birds. He looks sensible enough, cute even ahem uh, but he'd suddenly act shocked that he owns a pair of hands??

A very beautiful guy will answer the delivery service wearing designer clothes. He never steps a foot outside yet he's always dressed to the nines.

A really tall guy started living with them recently. He never wears shoes and has joined the neighborhood calisthenics group for senior folks.

like to think krsn 5 without tsukki are usually on the same page and all individually comes to the same ideas around the same time so here’s a short list of things concerning krsn 5 friendship that krsn 5-1 got and it took tsukki much more time

1. in high school their designated hang out spot was tsukki house. tadashi and tsukki already hung out there a lot. one time the rest of the gang had nothing to do so they followed them and it just stuck.

krsn 5-1 thought process was like: it’s spacious here and we get to see tsukki hot and NICE family. at some point tsukki got tired of yelling at them to go home and belligerently accepted his situation

2. they share clothes. my clothes are your clothes your clothes are my clothes type shit. it took tsukki an embarrassing amount of time to realize it was a thing but in his defence shoyo and tobio don’t tell him before they steal his clothes.

when tsukki looked at his closet and saw that half the things there weren’t even his, he had to admit that it’s not a one time thing and he’s a willing participant in it

3. it’s a pack for life. krsn 5-1 got it around the end of their first year meanwhile it took tsukki to the middle/near the end of his 3rd year. whole time he thought he would be free once he graduated. he was wrong.

they’re well into their adulthood, all got busy lives, 2/5 don’t even live in japan anymore and tsukki is still not free

going back to the clothes thing i just realized some of tsukki clothes are in brazil and italy while he’s in japan
