I love that the spinoff gave us SO many wet / shower scenes for Smoker. For no reason at all. You will certainly not find me complaining!

Doflamingo cooking for @saracrossing02 's #DoffyCooking ... event? prompt? Whatever you'd like to call it!

I really wanted to try out this sort of simplified motion in animation and thought of that just this morning so having this prompt as a base this evening was kind of perfect to steal a gif of Sanji cooking in the anime and slap Doffy all over it :P

Doing this is a nice break from my usual animations which take between 15-20 hours whereas this only took roughly 4 hours (thankfully, my wrist couldn't have taken much more! xP )

I had Dressrosa on while animating this and I like to think that it was quite inspiring. I've finally gotten my hands on the English dub and oh my god I think I love Doffy even more now. The voice is so freaking creepy and I really do just connect with the story more when I understand what's being said. (Only understanding the ocassional "kakoii" really isn't enough :P )

I like the idea that these crews actually get along pretty well (with one notable exception)

My PC really struggled in making this due to it being 4K.

Big thank you to @coffeetimeworks for helping me choose a scene for Penguin! Sorry that I couldn't draw him beaten and bloody, that was definitely above my skill level for this task, hehe. (I did try but it looked incredibly silly. Just as silly as Penguin's voice line here? Maybe. That's one still out for the jury to decide on.)

Just finished reading Law's novel for the first time... I cried a little bit... I really enjoyed it!!

I still have yet to read Ace's novel part 2 and to get my hands on Hour of Kikoku. I look forward to reading those too!
