Me: I’d spend a day with Ethan going in his favorite places (museums, parks, cafés) and eating sweet desserts.

And I’d avoid Behati because I’d be extremely uncomfortable with the amount of awkward silence ☠️

Of course, Kenyan is my favorite, this crazy woman who urgently needs some therapy and rest. Ain't she the prettiest? 🥰 But she's not a person you want to get involved with; she's either gonna kill you or drag you into her messes.

Behati is my second favorite! She's practical and doesn't need a lot to be fine, but she does her best to give everything her brother (Yuno) wants. Ah, she also holds a strong grudge against Maivtre, which is totally fair considering what happened.

And my baby Ethan 🥺 he's the moralistic soul among everyone, trying to convince them: "Murder is not normal, why do you solve problems like this???????". Coming from Earth, his mindset is pretty different from the rest, so he is a fresh breeze in their lives.

Martra’s Astronomy

Geez, that was me from the past trying to understand day’s duration in Martra (my fictional planet). What did I do here???? 😦

Before trying to explain, here are the “Moons” that work in Martra:

Marsulon (Big Moon): shines faintly, like a sunset or sunrise.

Divulon (Mid Moon): TOO shiny, scorching, very harmful for health

Nixulon (Minor Moon): like a black hole, total darkness no matter if there are fire or lanterns

So, APPARENTLY, the day has 21 hours. In this meantime, it goes like:

Marsulon: 10 hours

Divulon: 24 minutes

Marsulon: 10 hours

Nixulon: 12 minutes

Divulon: 24 minutes

In the first image there’s the ordinary routine for a Martran, but it may change depending on profession and species.

Now, you don’t ask me how I came up with this timing, cuz I won’t know how to explain it ☠️ I even searched a planet rotation simulator to understand it lol.

Martra’s kids live in hardcore mode

Actual parent: Kenyan (can’t take care of herself, much less of her son)

Wine dad: Sylris (gives alcoholic drinks to the child; his intentions aren’t clear)

Great at babysitting: Hiélo (the child wouldn’t be alive without him)

Mediocre at babysitting: Yuno (eats raw meat and offers to the child)

The house is on fire, god is dead: Behati (took the child to an execution and tried to kill the goddess)

Is the child: Ethan (he’s unable to understand how they survive like this)

The only ones following Martra’s culture is Hélio and Yuno; the others are plainly traumatized and traumatizing. Still, as an Earthling, Ethan is horrified by all of this ❤️

(Hiélo would sacrifice himself for Ethan; it’s a rule that all the children are extremely important and have to be cared of to protect their innocence. He still sees Ethan as a child.)

(Auvies eat raw meat; has an intense sweet taste, according to them. Yuno pretends the blood is juice.)

“Relationship”. I’m not sure about the meaning of this drawing because as I said, I’m trying hard to don’t overthink things. And the text in background is a gossip that goes around Martra:

“Did you hear the rumor? They say Maivtre has a lover, and Odabrani knows it! Why he doesn't act? Why he doesn't complain? He can be angry. Maivtre is being unfaithful and with her knight! Is that Lewie shameless?! They were siblings (close friends); nobody expected them to have this (love) relationship! And how did Maivtre lose at this sin? In all times, Maivtre and Odabrani were the perfect relationship (couple). How does she dare to destroy this reputation?”

A bit confusing, but this is how the relationships are supposed to be. Maybe it will change while I'm writing, as I'm still thinking what am I supposed to do with Maya, Behati and Yuno. They are necessary, but I don't know their role in the big picture 🥲

(I know it’s weird having a dog tagged as Lovers, but it's because I can't find somebody that looks like Hiélo, I swear it's not zoophilia ☠️☠️)

Ethan’s so done… but what can she do? Kenyan will never get used to processed meat and bland plants. It feels like eating plastic and poison.

Yeah, my style is gradually degrading its quality 😝 Comics take too much time for something useless (it’s not relevant for the main story) and I will not spend more than a day to do it. And I know if I decide to continue it another day, I’ll never finish it ❤️

Yuno Nearu

It is a drawing that I made in March 2024, and it is a redrawing from a drawing I made in December 2020.

I saw somebody on YouTube teaching how to paint with vibrant colors, but I don’t remember who it was, I’m sorry 💔 Anyway, it’s cool to see this drawing in black and white too.

I’m not a shapeshifter, but Sylris (my OC) is, and despite he not liking to expose his abilities, he made an exception for you only:

- Can you change your brain/other organs?

“Only if I have an extensive knowledge of how these organs work. The brain is too complex, with neurons and regions that change depending on their function. It’s not good to try changing it, as it can be a failure and cause an irreversible modification.”

- If you can change organs, if you had a lung cancer, could you shift your lungs to lungs that don’t have cancer?

“Yes, if I make an autopsy on a healthy lung.”

- What parts of your body do and don’t count as the shapes you shift?

“All of them count, including minor parts, such as nails, eyelashes, pores… This is why I can’t change to any shape I want, but only those I had studied a lot. It is a long journey.”

- Can you change your brain cells?

“As explained previously, yes, but I prefer to not do it. It is hard enough to understand how animals’ brains work, I rather don’t spend more time trying to change my brain if I am satisfied with it.”

“In resume, being a shapeshifter from my world requires you to be extremely disciplined, patient and dedicated. Many didn’t get to make it work because it is hard to adquire legal ways to study these organisms. But in my case… well, I’m the king now, they won’t send an arrest warrant for me, will they?”

"Illusion". I was thinking about their daily lives, and I had an awesome idea (maybe no, but I like it).

Kenyan was in the forest with Hiélo, and he said something that made her laugh for real. Everything is normal so far. What changed is that Sylris was nearby, saw it, and took a picture of her (if they have magic, they have a way to take pictures).

Some days later, Kenyan found an enormous poster of her in the castle. All the servants thought she was amazing on it, so different from her usual self! However, Kenyan considered it a personal mocking, because it was a reminder of everything she wasn't anymore. Sylris didn't want to take it off, but she threatened to burn down the poster and the castle if he didn't, so he eventually gave up.

...and took it to his room. They had an agreement not to mess up each other's rooms, so Kenyan couldn't destroy the poster while it was there. Now she's trying to convince him to take that away, because it's too shameful to "deal" with Sylris while a happier version of her is judging her actions. You try to guess what actions, based on their appearance.

"You're insufferable."

"No, it was expensive, and a rare moment."
