Day 1

Assignment: Classwork of Vector Calculus

[11.32 am]I have ODE lab viva soon and I am terrified but hopefully, it will be over soon. I have given myself the task of completing 20 problems of vector calculus.

[3.20 pm] I did start but there has been a dip in my motivation.So I guess I will just take a nice bath, cook some snacks for myself and my parents and then sit and study again.

[9.45 pm] I am done for the day.Today I did some problems on vector calculus.I don't know why but I felt tired in the evening and just could not sit and solve stuff so I did not force myself.There is some kind of peace in calculating the angle between two very complex surfaces don't you think? Only if I had more energy to go through it.But now I remember also loving the concept of directional derivative.It is not done yet so gotta continue tomorrow.

oh okay i like this. and of course i have favorite theorems, mostly based on how useful they are. here you go :

fermat's theorem (for congruences)

lagrange's theorem

fundamental theorem of finite abelian groups

density theorem

fundamental theorem of calculus (the one which uses riemann integrals)

wilson's theorem (for congruences)

special mention : squeeze theorem (mainly cause of the name)

[10.26 pm] Tomorrow’s my chemistry final.So just hoping that it goes well.Today I completed Differential calculus and vector calculus course.I still have problems to do though but that is 2 down out of 50 assignments ^^ (Happiest Dance lol).It felt nice to cross of that from my monthly goals spread.

Hey everyone! For the past few days (and since I found out about energy management) I’ve actually been super productive and getting all my work done! It’s very satisfying tbh. And I’ve already started planning out my senior year again. I’m aiming for all A’s this semester! And it’s gonna be difficult because all of my courses are either honor level, accelerated honor level or college level courses because of the school I go to (besides stuff like PE, student life courses, etc) but I’m confident that I can do it! :)

Heya!!

So today I just revised the first four easy chapters of analysis 1 and then I started chapter 12 (Analysis 1).Chapter 12 is about tests for convergent series like the leibinz test for alternating series,comparison tests (there are two of them) and a lot more which I will be doing tomorrow.I am feeling very tired today.I didn’t even do much.I just had 2 hours of statistics exam and have been feeling tired ever since.Maybe I did not rest enough after the exam or maybe I just have to go and sleep now.

I did place an order for some multivitamin pills though.This is the first time I’ll be using the brand so let’s just see how that goes and apart from that I telephoned two of my school teachers.Here in India it’s guru Poornima (Basically Teacher’s Day according to the Hindu calendar) and it was lovely talking to them.I really do miss them a lot.I also put a sheet mask on in the evening hoping that it’ll make me feel better.It did but I’m still tired so I’m just gonna go sleep.

Hi guys! As some of you may know, I’ve been trying to switch over to Notion to stream-line all my research progress and notes in one space. Unfortunately, all the examples I found here on Tumblr and on Youtube were more geared towards a bullet journal adaptation of Notion or more undergraduate-focused use of the app, which wasn’t what I wanted to model mine after. Therefore, I decided to play around with Notion myself and ended up making it work for my purposes. Because I am using this with the intention of being more focused and having my priorities straight, I kept the theme pretty basic and efficient. I am still working on learning how to use this app for my purposes but I decided to make this post to show you guys how I set up my Notion. Feel free to message me if you ever have any questions about my set-up or would like to see more of how I set a particular page up. 🌿What would be your perfect summer day? 🌿

Wake up late,have a light breakfast,pack a good lunch and go to a nearby scenic water place with my family.My family includes my parents,my cousins,my uncles and aunts.Eat a ton of fruits,play a lot of games,make a truck load of memories and fall asleep on my mommy's shoulder in the car on the way back home.

Hello, welcome to mayusthings where I'll be simply talking about my daily life as a maths undergrad and topics in mathematics that gets me jumping out of happiness!

I hope through this blog that people will get to see that mathematics is a cool subject that can be conquered one step at a time. I also want to make it more accessible to everyone.
