I’m torn, because when I had tiktok it was really bad for my mental health and I feel like the tiktok ban might do a lot good for people, BUT at the same time I totally don’t agree with why the US government wants to ban tiktok and I know it’ll just get sold to US company and probably remain as bad.
Genuinely 90% of historical fiction would be so much better if more writers could get more comfortable with the fact that to create a good story set in a different time period you do actually have to give the characters beliefs & values which reflect that time period
